"Paid a visit to the Papa Gino's store to meet with a PIZZA PROFESSIONAL, by the name of Mike Hampton. I live an hour away from this location but a colleague of mine referred me directly to work with Michael because of the outstanding customer service she’s received from him in the past. I thought to myself, “ is it worth the drive to meet this guy when my local store is less than 10 minutes away? Probably not?” Well let me shout the answer out “YESSSSS!!!!” I’ve never had a more pleasant experience than I did with Mike. He went above and beyond to get me everything I needed on my pizza. He even came into the store on his day off on more than one occasion. Who does that? Mike does!!! He works out of a few locations but made sure to make himself available at the location that was closest to me to answer all of my questions regarding the party I was about to prepare for. He spent quality time making sure to answer any and all questions to get the results I was looking for.(and the inquisitor in me asks a LOT of questions) I could go on and on but for the sake of losing anyone’s attention I’ll just end this in saying you must visit the Mansfield Papa Gino's store and ask for MIKE HAMPTON!! You won’t be disappointed. Superb service!!"
"I have had two back to back annoying/bad experiences with this place now and will not be returning. I will go over to Foxborough or Walpole if I want Papa Gino’s. First it was “our oven is off so we can’t make your order.” It was 8:10pm, 50 minutes before closing and their oven was off? I think they just didn’t want to make the order if I’m being honest. They couldn’t make one small order of breadsticks? Its not like I was asking for 20 pizzas. But that’s not what bothered me. Second thing that was my absolute last straw- was just the other day when I kept finding back to back hairs in my food that was most definitely not mine. One of them was even cooked into the cheese. How do multiple hairs get into someone’s food?? I understand hair in food happens on occasion, however, MULTIPLE hairs in both items I ordered, is not only unsanitary, but completely unacceptable and disgusting. Of course this had to be the one time I got a pick up order and couldn’t go back to get a new order, so the food went to waste. One positive thing I can say, the woman who gave me my pick up order was very nice and my order was accurate and ready on time. I can’t get past the hairs in my food though, sorry..."
"I called in a delivery order at 8:10 which was a large cheese pizza and a steak and cheese sub and spoke with Corey. I was never told how long it would take but didn't think it was a big deal and proceeded to give my phone number and address. An hour later, after not receiving my order, I called Papa Gino's back and spoke with Corey again asking about the status of my order. He said that the delivery driver called and I never answered my phone. He told me to go outside and wait and he would call the delivery driver and have him go back to drop off the order. Thirty minutes later, and still no food, I called Papa Gino's again. I asked Corey what the deal was and he said the order was cold so he told the driver to return to the store to remake it and tried calling me to tell me but couldn't reach me on my phone. When I asked Corey what number he called, he read me my old phone number I haven't had in two years and not the one I gave him when I placed the order that night! I told Corey he screwed up and had the wrong number and to cancel my order. To that, I got a rude comment from Corey and then was hung up on. I'm sorry Papa Gino's but is this the kind of quality service and customer satisfaction you instill in your employees, let alone your branch managers?!"
"The funny thing about Papa Gino's, is the fact that their pizza is the worst item on their menu when it's supposed to be like their main thing. They are sort of slow, the food other than pizza is actually decent, but the cheese tastes like cardboard."
"Very slow and inaccurate dining room order. Ordered at 1:30 in the afternoon, only one customer in front of me. Dining room only 1/4 occupied I'd say. Reviewed my burger lunch combo order with the clerk 4 times until the order was finally placed. Clerk asked if I would like a salad with the meal. I asked, does it come with the lunch combo and she said yes. It wasn't included; it rang up separately for about $3 more. Twenty five minute wait for a burger, fries, and the separately-priced side salad, and the burger came out wrong. I asked for a refund and left. At least the place was quite clean so 2 stars."
