"Stopped by earlier at the beginning of the season as we always do. Sorry that meal choices have changed so that the long dog plate no longer includes onion rings. So we ended up ordering two long dogs and a small order of onion rings. Tasty, but $7+ for a long dog just doesn't fit our budget. Won't be back."

"Oh no! A reliable spot for at least the last 25 years, since my childhood, is no longer reliable. At first it seems the loss of the cash only policy and an array if new flavors that something has improved but the service is slow and the food is now very bad. I used to endure the bad location at a busy intersection and awful parking because the food and ice cream were delicious. Burnt food and bland ice cream. This is a shame."

"We've been going to Carol's for a few years now and the food is always delicious! I went there today for the first time since they opened this year with their renovations and I think they have improved it for the better! I am really happy that the menu is available on their website now, and the new digital menu screen looks great. My boyfriend and I ordered a long dog and a clam strip dinner, When we first got our order, they had given us whole belly clams instead of the strips, which unfortunately I just don't like because of the flavor. I almost didn't say anything, but I was really looking forward to my first clam strips of the season, so I had my boyfriend go and tell them about the mix-up! They were so nice about it and accommodating. My corrected order came out fast and the clam strips were phenomenal! That is another thing -- the service was so much faster than usual! It wasn't too busy, but I was still impressed. They also accept cards now, which is a plus. We will be coming back whenever we're craving fried seafood or a long dog this Summer!"

"Brought my son for lunch and was very pleased! Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious! The onion rings were awesome! Best haddock I've had in quite some time! Will definitely be returning!"
