"When I first started ordering here everything was great, lately not so much, it's hit or miss. This past Saturday 11/11 I ordered food for my daughters birthday and the rice tasted like it was 3 days old and chicken was so dry you could have broken a tooth on it. Very disappointed."

"We got the fastest delivery ever. It seemed like I placed the order and they were there in under 20 minutes. The food was okay. The pork fried rice seemed to have an oily sheen to it. It tasted ok though. The fried foods in the Pu Pu platter were not over fried. If you're ever up in Ashby MA, you could do far worse for a meal."

"Was riding through Fitchburg and looking for a place to grab some food. Came across Gold Bowl and decided to give it a try. Place is mostly for take-out; only several booths for seating. There is no real table-service, you order at the counter and they bring your order out to you - packaged as a take-out (even though they know you're dining in). Service was fast, and staff was friendly and helpful. I ordered General's Chicken combination and a side of fried shrimp. The chicken was good, but the rice was bland, the spare ribs were just small thin strips, and the crab rangoons were meh. The fried shrimp were dripping with oil and barely edible. The place seems to be popular with the locals, tho, as the counter was busy for most of my visit. I rarely venture out that way, but if I do, I'll look for something else to try."

"Great food at a great price. My wife and I ate here today for lunch. They have lunch specials which run $10 to $12 and is served daily 11 to 3pm. With the lunch you get a choice of appetizer, rice (white, brown or pork fried rice) and your main meal. The portions are generous. The service is fast and overall a great lunch. I ordered a lo mein dish not on the lunch special. It was delicious. We will absolutely be back"
