"Visiting on Saturday around 2:30pm. Seems lack of staff at that time, but the lady is very nice. Only tried ramen and noodles, not bad, eatable, will try others next time to find out more."
"Been eating sushi for decades, all over the US and in Japan. Chiharu is top-notch! The food is excellent--very fresh and expertly prepared, both of which are essential for sushi. The dining room is warm and welcoming; the staff and owners (family-run business) are truly wonderful people who know many of their customers by name. Go. Go! GO! You will not be disappointed!"
"Overall loved it here. The food was delicious, the place is beautiful, and the prices were fairly reasonable. I do think I'll need to rethink what I order next time just because I wasn't super full after the meal (we ordered 4 things between two of us but I was too hungry to remember to get pictures of anything else haha), but it did taste very good! The only slight ding was the service, and this is a very small complaint. There was two servers, one was very attentive, the other, I think he may have been training or something because he seemed a bit shy about coming over to our table even though it was the end of the day and we were the only ones there. So we wound up being there a little longer than we planned just because there were longer gaps between drinks/food order/dessert order/check. Although the food itself came out within a very reasonable amount of time after we placed our orders."
"Best sushi I’ve had in Boston! The dragon roll and kiss of fire roll were great and fish here is very fresh. Also recommend pork buns. Parking is on the street. It’s a small place with a great atmosphere and I will definitely come back."
"Atmosphere: This is a relatively small restaurant. There are three 4-person tables, two 2-person tables, and four bar seats in front of the sushi chefs. They played some lively jazz music the last time I was here. Parking: There is no parking lot of parking in front of the restaurant. There is some metered parking around the corner or parking on the street behind the restaurant. Noodles: I've had their homestyle beef noodle soup. has udon noodles, about ten generous pieces of tender beef brisket, spring greens, bean sprouts, half of a small shiitake mushroom, and some small slices of a pickled vegetable. A couple of notes to be aware of: 1) This is not the same as the beef brisket you'd expect in an American bbq place. 2) Noodle and ramen dishes are in the same category, and this has udon noodles, not ramen noodles. Sushi: The salmon sushi is good. The smoked eel sushi surprisingly came with a generous amount of avocado slices and was also sprinkled with sesame seeds. The eel was cleaned perfectly, not a single bone. The sushi rice holds together well. The ginger is fresh."
