Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

"**YOU NEED A RESERVATION. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE, YOU MAKE ONE AT THE DOOR AND THEY MAKE YOU WAIT FOR A TEXT. THIS WAS A BUMMER AFTER A TWO HOUR DRIVE.** I was relatively unimpressed with Kura. The food is relatively average, the sushi flavors are restricted to mostly plain fish with some staples like dragon and tiger rolls. There was a very good crunchy roll. Unfortunately there is NO PLAIN CALIFORNIA ROLL (with ARTIFICIAL crab meat). I can't eat crab so this was very disappointing. I ordered a Teriyaki chicken which came with lettuce and carrot. It was okay. Taiyaki ice cream that was the highlight. It had red bean paste on the ice cream and inside the fried taiyaki treat (which is a lot of red bean). My friends enjoyed a shoryu ramen. We had 17 individual plates, 3 which was subpar. As someone very familiar with Japanese cuisine available in Massachusetts this isn't overly expensive but a bit higher than you might expect. After a tip it was around $150 for 4 people. Know that you're paying extra for the uniqueness of the experience. It's unwise to go in and just use the conveyor belt. Make sure you use the screen to order something you like just in case. Good place to go with friends, although I would recommend coming later in the afternoon when it's less busy. Do I recommend it? Hesitantly, yes. It's really quite unique for our area. But personally, I consider it only as a novelty, not a must-go restaurant."

"We've come here twice already! Food is delicious, staff is excellent, and the conveyor belt delivery system is so much fun! My only complaint is how the wait list worked the first time... You had to put your name in, make an account, and that was only to _get put on the actual wait list_! I would have preferred to just wait the longer time. Our second visit, we got there early and didn't have to wait, so it was a perfect experience!"

"For sure a different dining experience! Staff explained how it all works and we were able to self serve:) you can pick sides form the revolving part and order hot dishes/desserts/drinks through the self serve tablet. Everything tasted fresh, my ramen was excellent. If nothing else, Teriyaki ice cream will definitely have me come back for more! Prices here are very average for Asian restaurants in the area - $135 for party of 3 adults. Note- as of Nov 2023 they don’t have their alcohol license yet)"

"The food and the entire experience was amazing. The restaurant could have verb a bit cleaner. Dish shoots at the table as were the booth seats, floors and the bathroom could've used another go over. If you want us to wait outside, please provide a little more seating. Food was spectacular delicious! It's a good way to try sushi without committing to a huge roll. Well done over all. The kids will love it!"

"First time at this location. There is a wait time before you enter since you do have to register and sign in before your waited and seated. Other than that the Food was Amazing! Service was Fantastic! And Staff were Great! I highly recommend everyone to come to Kura Sushi Revolving Sushi Bar with your friends and Family. Will come back again! Five Star!"
