"Great winter getaway! Perfect view from room 3. Warm gas fireplace in the room. Love the rocking chairs in front of the large bay window. Comfy beds. Warm shower. Very clean. Easy check in and out."

"This is a good place, that could be outstanding. On the positive side you cannot beat the view or the location, looking out onto the Atlantic Ocean, beautiful sunrises, and you can practically fall forward from outside your room onto the beach. Our room was clean – for the most part. The fireplace was great and there are minisplits for AC. That said, if they just put a little bit of effort into the rooms these could be really great places. Reviews on here from over 4 years ago describe this place as “rundown”, “could… be refreshed’, “a little dated”. And from what I saw not much has changed over that time. There were tiles missing in the bathroom, the mirror felt like it could come down at any time, instead of a coat hook behind the door there was a sheetrock screw, and there was a soft patch in the floor that made me thankful I was not more overweight than I am (we did refrain from dessert on our trip). Each room has a beautiful window to look out onto the ocean, but the front door to the room next door practically opens right out to the front of our window. So anyone stepping out there we’d automatically see. That is not great for privacy. There are baseboards around the room that are no longer in use. It's not much, but if they remove them it could provide just a little bit more room in the cabin. I'm pretty handy around the house on small jobs, and while we were there I kept thinking if I had my tools, and about $100 in spending cash I could make the room we were staying in look incredible."

"We received a gift certificate from a family member to go here and I’m so glad they introduced this hotel to my life. Our stay was so lovely. The view of the beach in incredible. It’s so quiet, the fireplaces are lovely! There are fireplaces in the rooms and fire pits outside. There is an easy dirt pathway directly to the beach!"
