Today we had our first visit from the Metro Pets Grooming van, and can’t say enough about how great it was. "It really, really hurts me to do this and we never ever write bad reviews. We love supporting small businesses especially cute little boutique shops like this one! But after two years of our family being loyal customers and to be very honest of amazing service and experiences, our main groomer left their shop due to managerial issues. Unfortunately we had no where to go, so we decided to give them one more shot… We brought our Xiao Xiao in earlier and had talked to the new groomer of the way we wanted it, showed many pictures of previous cuts and dropped him off. When we got back after an un-communicated expanded amount of time we were in shock! They had cut through his inner coat and was left with less than an inch of fur. They claim the notes had said that the previous groomer had used that short comb for his fur before but we were sure that it was never that short as we have pictures from all his cuts after his grooms. They said it was miscommunication of the cut, the service, the time allotted, the price of $95, I mean what went right that day? Just shortening the entire list of other things that just went wrong for us that day and the sheer displeasure of the communication after. Sure the manager refunded the session but the damage is far from that. Maybe the stars aligned that we shouldn’t have gone there at all after but the total experience for that was absolutely the worst experience we have EVER, EVER gotten! Take my review with a grain of salt but I do believe that pictures don’t lie. We will never return to Metro Pets. First picture is currently and second and third picture is of previous times we normally have our Xiao Xiao."
