"I felt good about the service in the beginning I had no dental coverage and was treated fairly I had work done, paid out of pocket, and always paid my balance. When I finally got Delta Dental I was grateful and continued my services until one day the dentist wanted me to have some work done. I knew I was very close to my maximum amount allowed on my dental benefits and thought I should wait to the following year for my benefit amount allowed to renew. Before agreeing to have the work recommended done I asked the secretary to call Delta Dental to make sure I had enough benefits left to cover this work. She said I was all set. The work was done and I was told I had a balance. I was shocked. When I tried to dispute this everyone in the office gave me such a hard time that now I have to pursue a lawyer. I will not let this go. Nor will I ever seek treatment here again."

"I would not recommend this dentist. I have had 4 root canals done by Dr. Cunanen, 2 of which I did not know I needed until he had drilled the holes and advised me that he would be doing a root canal that very day and not long after the initial 2 were completed. One of those crowns was made in the wrong color (very yellow) and had to be completely removed and done over. A harrowing experience. The second time around it was placed on incorrectly and had a gap between the top of the new crown and the gum line. A very bad thing, as this introduces food particles and bacteria to the underlying gum and remaining post. The crown also had malocclusion and was too high. Instead of correcting, the bottom of the tooth was filed flat to accommodate the error. This was on my 30th birthday. A terrible experience to say the least, thousands of dollars later. I have since found another oral surgeon that will repair this."
