Best Western At Historic Concord

"Can someone please explain what type of place this is now? I've tried calling to book a room here but a very rude girl on the phone is saying it's not a hotel and won't give me any information and hangs up on me. This used to be my favorite place to stay so I'd appreciate it if someone could help?"

"Stayed one night on business. Great staff. Hotel is a bit dated. Definitely need some upgrades in the room but with that said my stay was comfortable. Decent breakfast with pancakes and eggs."

"When I tell you that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at, I say this with pride. Genuinely incredible staff, very attentive and helpful, the person who worked the night of our check in date was super friendly and courteous, sadly forgot to get her name but she was awesome. The breakfast is absolutely the best I've had in a standard hotel, full on scrambled eggs with bacon/sausage, little triangle potato things, pancakes, bagels, cereal, this is what breakfast should be like in every place. They had a gorgeous pool, which sadly we couldn't use due to just not having our swimming attire/it being the middle of October, but it looked clean as anything. Our room had a balcony area, was extremely clean, chargers above the bed, a heat lamp in the bathroom, which my girlfriend, now fiancé since I proposed during my time in this area, absolutely loved. Oh yeah, plus my girlfriend and I got engaged here, I was super nervous, but they made us feel like we were at home. This is a fantastic hotel, old school sure, but none the less, if we end up taking another trip to Salem, this will be our hotel of choice. No questions asked. Sure its about an hour away, but I'd rather drive a bit and stay at a place I know will be a fantastic stay. I say this with over 4 years of hospitality under my belt, amazing hotel."

"Stayed 2 nights for a business trip. The location is good because its out of the city but not too far and close to a lot of nice places like Concord. The hotel itself was clean and thats about all I can say. The lobby reeks of 30yr old cigarette smoke and the rooms were not all that quiet. Breakfast was OK. Overall I would have felt better about my stay if the price wasn't so high. It was over 200/night during weekdays?"

"Very underwhelming, deceitful photos. Woke up several times due to doors opening throughout the building. People leaving for work super early and you can hear it all. Bed pillows are like couch pillows, uncomfortable and hurt my ears. Was informed by staff to shower with the door closed because it will set off smoke alarms throughout the building. Stay elsewhere for a better experience."
