Courtyard by Marriott Boston Westborough

"Low review because I was incorrectly charged $652.41 for my stay in August. It is October 6 now and I still don't have a refund. I booked and pre-paid thru Travelocity then the hotel incorrectly charged my Visa card instead of getting reimbursement from Travelocity (only saw this when reviewing my credit card bill, they still have not provided me a detailed copy of the billing). I have called the hotel 6 times over the last 2 months trying to resolve. Sent a detailed e-mail to the on-site manager, Juan Rincon, 2 weeks ago which he has not even acknowledged receipt of. I am a Gold Elite member on Marriott Bonvoy and have been for years but unfortunately won't be using Marriott properties again until this is resolved. UPDATE: I did finally receive my credit in October after more phone call inquiries although I never did hear back from the on-site manager. Still unclear why it took so long to process the credit and I feel strongly that I would not have received my credit for the incorrect billing if I had not pursued it vigorously."

"All in all a nice room. I had the King bed with a Sofa. Room 203. This room has a small balcony outside the patio doors so makes for a cozy spot for coffee (in warm months). As well, my room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. It is important to note that my colleagues were in the same Hotel and did not have a balcony or a Microwave in their room. Please ensure you ask these questions when booking a room here so that you get what you need. No continental breakfast or any free breakfast. (In this day and age, there should always be something for breakfast). They do have a small bistro, in house, that sells coffee and breakfast meals. They have a small snacks corner but the prices are ridiculous. I understand there is a convenience fee but 16$ for 2 small bags of chips (snack size) and 1 standard sized chocolate bar is a little much. (Especially that there is no free breakfast offered). Except for the breakfast and convenience store issues, the hotel is clean and staff were all friendly."

"Rooms where nice,people were friendly,good was awful. I had Breakfast there it was overpriced and underwhelming. I ordered Scrambled eggs, and they served me sunny side up eggs, they remade my eggs and they came out runny. I also ordered French toast and they were so soggy like wet paper I couldn't eat my breakfast and they still charged me $30 dollar. Awful!!!"

"First let me say that this is very nice hotel. Room was very nice. This is the problems. No FREE hot breakfast. Had a little mini restaurant that was way over priced. No USB ports in the room, NONE. No microwave. No outside security cameras. You would think that the Marriott would have better amenities."

"Check in was literally less than five minutes. I was informed that they don't have breakage but there is a Bistro in the lobby. The area felt safe and it was very quiet. The bed was very comfy and the room was nice and clean. However, the garbage cans had no bags. Does that mean that housekeeping has to dig out anything that is sticky? Ugh.. that just won't do. We had a plastic bag and used it for our garbage and tossed it in the garbage on our way out. The shower had great pressure. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are on the wall. They smell of Eucalyptus and Lavendar. That setup is perfect for the environment. Ask for a room away from the side doors. I heard it all night until I finally fell asleep. They aren't pet friendly so we can't stay there again but I do recommend it. Very relaxing sleep."
