"Staff were very friendly and helpful. I think I made a bad choice in rooms, it was awkward, but I did that and didn't raise the issue. It was an accessible room, and I didn't need that, it was my choice. Food was good. Breakfast costs $17 extra but is a decent buffet. Scrambled eggs were somehow dryer and therefore less good than at most such buffets. Also had fruit, cereal, home fries, and a meat, as well as juices, coffee, tea. Dinner choices are somewhat limited, but they are good. My room was only cleaned once in five days, and they only seemed to replace towels. I understand places do this less, but still it seems I usually get more room service at similar hotels."
"You won't get what you think you paid for. We had 2 adjoining rooms booked 6 weeks in advance. On the website it stated the pool area was closed for renovations through August. We stayed at the hotel Mid October and it is still under renovations and the pool area is closed until 2024. We would have stayed elsewhere, but trusted the website information. Also, no daily room service. We had the rooms serviced 2 times for a 6 night stay. Might as well stay at an AirBnB if you want to clean and make your own beds. The 2 rooms were connected but lacked the same amenities. One room had a towel bar, the other bathroom did not. No soap dish to place the hand soap after using. Need a night light in the bathrooms. They provide shampoo, conditioner and Shower gel dispensers in the showers, but only 1 bathroom had all 3. There was blue painters tape over the smoke detector in room that was missing the towel bar and soap dispensers, I have a feeling this room was not supposed to be rented out yet. The maids must meet on floor 2 in the morning. They talk very loudly as they get their carts ready to clean rooms. Never was able to sleep in on our vacation. Overall we were very disappointed and would have stayed at one of our other choices if we had known all of this. We work hard for our money and when we are on vacation we want what is expected. No discount was offered or any type of a refund. The updates look nice but we could see issues where they wont hold up. We recommend you stay somewhere else."
"Great hotel. Higher quality than a La Quinta or Holiday Inn, but still at an affordable rate. The whole place was recently renovated, so it’s all nice and new. They told us some portions are under construction, but we haven’t been bothered by it or seen the construction yet."
"Don't stay here, seriously. I'm writing this to save you from a lot of anger and frustration in every regard. As a side note, I didn't book this hotel; I was provided this place to stay for work. Hopefully, if you're reading this, you haven't booked this hotel. If you have, try to cancel. Don't let the pretty exterior fool you. There are numerous issues with this hotel, starting with being greeted by hammering and sawing at 8 am, seven days a week (yes, including Sunday), along with an overcrowded breakfast line, a single waffle maker, three small bins of meat, and stale, unmaintained bread. The hotel staff, both at reception and in the kitchen, seem to respond with a helpless "there's nothing we can do." The manager I spoke to about the 8 am hammering on Sunday had the same attitude: "You should have read the website, sorry." Your belongings on your bedside will even rattle from the construction equipment. The only positive aspect is that the housekeeping staff does an excellent job, and they only clean your room upon request. I woke up early to get breakfast and waited patiently in line, only to be told, "too bad, you can't have breakfast because it stops at 10 am." But I waited in line for 40 minutes. "Sorry, we're under renovation," they replied. I asked, what does that have to do with breakfast? There has been no bacon or sausage in the entire 40 minutes I've been waiting. "Sorry, we're under renovation," they repeated. I've noticed that every employee seems to blame everything on the renovation, as if it's their singular excuse for any issues. I don't see any issues with their kitchen or their ability to work. No one is even manning it because it's clearly visible from the dining room. The ladies working the tables are friendly, but they seem to be directed by those who say "we're under renovation." I started to wonder if it's some sort of religion here I've never heard of. One thing I would say is, if you're going to have chaos in your hotel, putting your guests through such irregularities, at the very least, make sure they're fed and honor those who clearly waited patiently. This hotel won't. Save yourself a significant amount of stress and disappointment, and stay somewhere else, where the hotel management cares and treats you fairly. I'm trying to figure out if everyone is severely underpaid here, or if it's just the Hilton way of life. In all my years of traveling around the world and staying in various places, I have never witnessed such a disregard for guests at every level and turn. I have also never felt so enraged."
"The hotel was under renovation but we got one of the new rooms and they are great. We had a couple of small issues but the staff resolved them quickly. And to top it off the breakfast was free during the renovation. They aren't completely done yet but will be soon so if you plan to go there within the next couple of months you may still see some work going on but it is all to make the building and guest experience better. We really enjoyed our time there and are sure you will too."
