"Pat and Conrad are lovely hosts with refreshing, wonderful social consciences. We stayed in the Brighton Room, equipped with an efficient (and virtually silent) heat pump, a Keurig coffee machine, and a little fridge, supplied with fresh milk for coffee or tea. The bathroom, while not en suite, is for exclusive use by Brighton Room residents and is spacious and brand new. A thoroughly charming experience!"

"Pat and Conrad were some of the bests hosts in hospitality we've had. From the moment we got there off the train til the moment we left, we felt so cozy and cared for during our stay. The breakfasts were out of this world, the room was fantastic, and the cats were just as kind as the humans!! Aside from the BNB itself, it was so close to downtown Brattleboro along with many restaurants that the hosts recommended themselves! Definitely will visit here again when we visit Vermont in the future!!"

"Patricia and Conrad are a delightful couple and gracious innkeepers for this rustic and comfortable BNB which hosts 2 bedrooms in their 1903 home. Each spacious bedroom has its own bathroom down the short hall. our bed was very comfortable. Guests have access to an extensive little library room and the downstairs dining/sitting room. Patricia graciously accommodated our strict dietary needs and prepared us delicious breakfasts for our 2 mornings with them. We walked to the downtown and also had a great meal at the Vegan AF restaurant just steps away. A lovely experience in Brattleboro."

"We stayed here for an anniversary trip and had a fantastic time, despite the unplanned for thunderstorms! Pat & Conrad are the most gracious and personable hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet at a bed and breakfast. They were extremely knowledgeable about the area and gave us suggestions and tips to get the most out of Brattleboro. The room was beautiful and very cozy. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. "I highly recommend The One Cat. The house and rooms are comfortable and inviting and the owners - Pat and Conrad - are absolutely wonderful. My husband and I only stayed for one night, but could have happily spent a week there. The breakfast was especially delicious and thank you, Conrad, for the English Muffin recipe!
