"Re: Athena on University Drive My husband and I just recently found this place and I have to say we just love it! We are both from NY and know great pizza! Our first visit we ordered a family size pizza with onions, pepper and mushroom. It came exactly the way we ordered and was absolutely amazing.and everything was freshly made to order! So the next time we ordered a large pizza with peppers, mushrooms and onions, and two large chicken cutlet parmesan subs once again everything was amazing! So happy we found this place and can't wait to try maybe an eggplant parmesan sub next time!!!! Karol"
"I would give this place a 0 stars if I could. Today I came in with my service dog and my family of 6 +1 ($70 order) I was immediately approached by a man stating “ you cannot have dog in restaurant you must leave “ without hesitation and in a rude manner. He starred me down as I placed my $16 dollar lasagna oil soup (see picture) immediately after order I ended up leaving with my service dog and waited for the worst dinner of day. If it wasn’t for my kids being hungry and this the only place open, I would not have ordered their mediocre tasting food. NOT SERVICE ANIMAL FRIENDLY!"
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Athena’s Pizza in Amherst, and I must say it was an absolute delight. The pizza I had was hands down the most delicious pizza I've had in a long time. Every bite was a burst of flavor and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The crust was perfectly crispy, and the combination of toppings was simply mouthwatering. Aside from the incredible taste, the service was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and made sure that I had a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere of the place was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal with friends or family. I highly recommend Athena’s Pizza to anyone who appreciates outstanding pizza. They truly deliver on their promise of serving delicious food. It's a place where you can indulge in incredible flavors and create unforgettable memories. I can't wait to visit again soon!"
