"I love the bakery's great selection at Big Y definitely has a bigger variety of items and their shelves actually have more then 2 boxes of the product on them unlike stop n shop. Prices are great and even better when there are sales, I mean everything is expensive these days anyways. I love that big y carries local brands like mapleline farm products. The staff here is great they always seem to be ready to help and don't have an attitude unlike other stores. However I have noticed that with the strawberries they're weird smelling after a day of having the strawberries in my fridge a strange odor comes from them, it's not rotting it's just strange and unpleasant. I don't know why but I'm not a fan of it and it happens only from big y. Remember to bring your reusable bags!"

"Great prices and very fresh grocery items! The pizza that is made fresh in the deli area is really very good and reasonably priced. The option to use the self-checkout rather than go to a cashier does help speed up the process. It's also a real benefit to have the Big Y so close to other stores and shops in the area for added convenience when doing errands. It's good to know that they sell store gift cards, too."
