Holiday Inn & Suites Pittsfield-Berkshires, an IHG Hotel One West Street, Pittsfield, MA 01201

"Now that this hotel is priced as a Holiday Inn and Suites instead of a Crowne Plaza, the price is right. There are many places to eat within walking distance, not to mention the YMCA. The rooms are clean and spacious. Real crispy bacon is one of the breakfast options. The staff is friendly and accommodating. While the garage is being renovated, the complimentary valet service is an excellent stopgap measure. Even though the structure has undergone a renovation since my last visit—more than ten years ago—it will always be old (fitting in with the neighborhood) and have some darkness. Maybe they will figure out an affordable way to turn this into an advantage and make the hotel more boutique-like. If I am in the area, I will stay there again."

"Kind of low key. Would of liked if the pool was cleaner ex. Around the water line. This is my second hotel in a year with a pool and never looks as if the care or clean adequately. Ps Water temp was amazing though even though they advertised a hot tub which was not in use."

"I really don't want to say anything negative about my stay. But I think anyone staying here should know that the parking garage appears condemned and parking is a 5 minute walk. They have valet to compensate for this. I personally hate valet, so I opt to just walk. But it is cold and I didn't pack accordingly... So just be aware. Other than that, I don't have anything negative to say."

"This is not a fancy hotel but it was exactly what we needed to attend a wedding in New Lebanon. The room was clean and spacious, the valet parking was a helpful accommodation, and staff were friendly. There is a bar on the 2nd floor that was open late which was perfect for when we got back from the wedding. There is a Big Y and CVS very conveniently located."

"A lot of the other reviews will talk about the parking situation so I won't go over that again here. The rest of our visit was very enjoyable though. Able to breeze through check-in and get up to our room which had a nice view of the town. The room (King Suite w/ pull out couch) was very spacious and clean when we got in and had a nice little kitchenette with a fridge which turned out to be perfect for our leftovers later on. No issues with the beds, both of them were very comfortable. When we called and asked for extra blankets and pillows they arrived right away. The only issue that did come up was the chain for the toilet flapper broke. However a call to the desk brought someone up who fixed it for us. We didn't dine in the restaurant but the breakfast buffet the next morning was very very good. Lots of different options and was constantly being refilled. Check out was just as easy as check in and left very happy. Would recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area."
