"It is clean, comfortable beds a clean bathroom a short minute from the highway...it is basic and clean we plan to stay there as a evening respite from the drive."

"We checked in after a really long day of traveling. It was about 10:30, when the guy finally comes to the door to check us in, we tell him we made a reservation online. He says “well it’s not on my end” and I show him the confirmation number and he says “that doesn’t matter I don’t see it”. Finally after going back and forth he gives us a room key. He was extremely unfriendly but I digress. Then we get to the room. It smelled like mildew and like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The toilet wasn’t even fully connected to the base, the whole thing moved around. The heat never got turned on even though he said he turned it on. The blankets were old and dirty. I found old hair on my pillows. We got there at 10:30 and left right before sunrise and that still wasn’t soon enough. Would absolutely never go back. I don’t care how tired you are and want to sleep, drive to the next town and find something else."

"I can’t tell if I walked into a cob web or spider web when entering the bathroom. Rooms were a little cold (ask them to turn heat on and they will)a little musty smelling but was very friendly serviced. They fed my kids free breakfast. Overall stay wasn’t bad at all. Rooms just need a little update but would definitely stay again. They even discounted a stay for us with no problem. Beautiful scenery."

I couldn't understand what had triggered such a reaction. Our booking through Expedia had specifically mentioned that the room came "with breakfast." So, I contacted Expedia and asked for a partial refund. They were kind enough to reach out to the hotel on my behalf, but despite the hotel acknowledging the absence of breakfast, they refused to provide any refund. At the end, I contacted my credit card company, who understood my situation and issued a partial refund. This incident is not merely about the money; it's about the principle. We should not have to pay for something we did not receive. If you value your principles, I would advise against staying at this hotel."

"Keep driving, disgusting and way overpriced for the quality and cleanliness! We stayed for the first, and last time. Upon arrival we noticed a window was open. After entering the room we knew why, there was a very strong musty/moldy smell. Very dated, stains on walls and chairs, musty/moldy smell, broken curtains and blinds, cobwebs in every corner, dust piled under bed and on baseboards, just gross in every sense. Would have left to go elsewhere but being a holiday weekend every other place nearby was booked. I almost slept in the car. We got there after dark and left at daybreak and it wasn't fast enough! We also tried washing up in the morning and there was no hot water. Sheets, sink and toilet looked clean."
