"Dr. Diehl was my primary care physician for several years. The office was slow, once they forgot about me for 90 minutes, but I still went because it was convenient. A few years ago, I became extremely ill. I couldn't eat because it was too painful. When I told Dr. Diehl that i was keeping a food diary, she said "I don't care what you're eating. What you're eating doesn't matter." She then told me I had acid reflux/GERD and gave me a prescription for Prilosec. I disagreed with her diagnoses and sought a second opinion with a gastroenterologist. The day after I made my appointment with the specialist, I received a phone call from Delaware Family Care Associates harassing me for seeking a second opinion. They told me that Dr. Diehl already told me what was wrong, and they would NOT be releasing my medical records. They have yet to release MY medical records to me. Which is illegal, by the way. Had I listened to Dr. Diehl and not asked for a second opinion from someone who actually knows what they're talking about, I would never have been diagnosed with celiac disease. I guess what I was eating DID matter. I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. I urge anyone considering going to see Dr. Diehl to run as fast as you can in the opposite direction."
