"I’ve been to lots of restaurants and this is by far the best in the area. It’s always been a favorite of my parents, and my husband and I tried it recently and were amazed. The steaks are incredible-amazing quality of meat. Appetizers are delicious-especially the stuffed mushrooms. Their variety of sauces across all the menu items are flavorful and delicious. And don’t forget dessert!! Their signature cheesecake freeze (an ice cream/cheesecake blend) is out of this world. Carol and John really nailed it and I’m happy to support a family owned restaurant."

"I never have written a review for a restaurant before this one. I've lived near this place for nearly my entire life but have just decided tonight to actually go there for dinner. I've seen its parking lot packed on the weekends so I figured they must doing something right. First off, the food was genuinely good. Not amazing, but far from bad at all. The service was quick, and our orders were correct. With all that being said, the waitress put off a weird vibe. She wasn't outright rude at all, but was trying too hard to be causal and sarcastic in an endearing way, which left a terrible taste in my mouth (thank god the food didn't!). She outright told me because I didn't want to order the cheesecake for dessert that she didn't want to be friends anymore. I still don't know what I should've said in response. Anyway, the food was great, but the prices were a bit too much and the service was just uncomfortable. A side-note- the music choices were probably the worst part of the night (aside from What A Fool Believes; can never go wrong with Michael McDonald). Would not recommend, though I wish I could."

"I started with Oysters, they were so small, I was told they added a few (had clams bigger) The house salads were typical (no complaints) My NY Strip was dull in color, no grill markings, was thin and pathetic looking. What it lacked in appearance, it lacked in flavor and seasoning. The side of vegetables (asparagus) was also pathetic looking. Definitely not heading back or recommended."

"The steak was perfect medium rare. Im guessing it was a sous vide reverse sear because it was not "juicy" but still great beef flavor, lean, and seasoned well. My partner enjoyed the crab cakes, but i thought they were a bit dry, over cooked. But i prefer broiled over sauted, so this may be why. The mashed potatoes under the cakes were creamy delicious, with the juillien cut veg a good crisp compliment. The bread, perhaps sour dough, was fresh and good texture. Needed salt. The wedge salad...addicting. House salad is unimpressive but had a good poppy seed dressing. The highlight (and im so not a dessert person) was the strawberry cheesecake. The blueberry was tasty, too, but strawberry was a clear winner. Overall, good food, very good service, comfortable dark atmosphere...but not worth the price tag."

"What a delicious surprise! The restaurant is family run, and they make sure everything is top-notch. The food is good! Some of their specials and appetizers and the frozen cheesecake dessert are so unique and delicious. They have a selection of fresh oysters that those at the table ate them were blown away. So fresh and so good. The kunkel spicy shrimp was delicious. As it's described on the menu is exactly how it tastes. Not too hot when you eat it but that lingering heat just grows. And not in a bad way. The steaks were all done to perfection, the fra Diablo sauce on the pasta was delicious, the table was silent when the food was delivered because everyone was eating lol. The desserts were all delicious as well, especially their frozen cheesecake ice cream dessert. They had numerous flavors of cheesecake and it's like they put it in an ice cream machine and serve it to you. So velvety smooth and delicious. Make sure you save room after dinner. And the top it off the service was outstanding. And the top that off, it's BYOB!"
