"I called to speak with on-person at 1:16pm and did not receive a callback. I called again at 1:31pm and received a callback at 1:38pm. Dr. Zimmer was on call for Shore Peds. I spoke with her and mention "my 8 year old child has covid and has been throwing up and unable to keep anything down. Could you send a prescription to the pharmacy for medication to stop him from throwing up". Dr. Zimmer told me "No, I am not around a computer at the moment, but I can send it in a few hours. If you are concerned about dehydration take him to urgent care or the hospital." I replied "my entire family has covid". She refused to do her job as the person on-call. Its Sunday the Pharmacy closes early today and my child is suffering because she chooses to be neglectful and delay care. I have recommended so many people to Shore Peds for over 14 years. Dr. Zimmer would not be one I would recommend you take your child too!"
