"I went and stated my specific needs. I was clear that I needed a seed for a heat tolerant, full sun, fescue overseed that was somewhat drought tolerant. We discussed a few seed options and the salesman recommended a blend he thought would do well. Well shame on me for not reading the bag. I figured why would they steer me wrong. It wasn't until after my seed was thrown down and project completed that I discovered the blend I was sold was 60% rye! That was not what I asked for at all! Rye won't do well in Delaware summers without a ton of water. Let this be a lesson I guess, to me, to read every label and be weary of recommendations."
