"The schools curriculum is not conducive to the children’s needs. Teachers aren’t good at communicating with parents. The classroom size is too large. Some teachers do not have good classroom management skills. Teachers are quick to kick students out of the classroom than manage the behaviors. My son was not challenged enough he has an IQ of 119, but teachers would not listen or communicate with myself or his therapist to find ways to keep him engaged. I feel he did not benefit from his education this school year and I am actively looking for a me school for him in the Fall. Instead of helping him and challenging him the school was quick to try to label my son. If parents do not know the law they will not asssit you properly. I was an elementary school teacher and social worker for many years. The school counselor called DHS on me for disciplining my son at home for his behaviors at school. I would not recommend this school and the Spanish program is being reduce to two days a week."

"My son has been being bullied for a while now. I brought this to the school attention several times and they claim it's been handled but today he got punch in the eye in class. The communication between their staff and parents is disorganized. They need to pay more attention to children safety. Especially when being bullied."

"This is my granddaughter's second year at ICS west. It's a good character school. But with so many new teachers and students this year, their quality of teaching, caring, and communication is in need of major improvement."
