Doc's Riverside Grille

"My husband, mom, sister and I went to Doc's for lunch four days straight while my dad was in compass hospice. Not only was the food to die for, but the staff was beyond phenomenal. We all tried different food, appetizers and desserts each day and everything we tasted was mouth watering goodness. The staff became like family, each caring and compassionate with our situation. After my dad passed we went back to have one last meal, and it was bittersweet knowing we wouldn't be back the next day. Next time we are in Maryland we will be sure to come back by for a visit and great food. Many thanks to Susan, Susie, Susie 2, and Angie for truly being the bright light during our darkest time."

"This was our second time coming here and our experience was equally as good as the first time. We had an early lunch shortly after opening and all of the girls inside were super friendly and our waitress was fantastic. We started with the Bo Bo Shrimp and they were huge, fresh and deeeelicious. I had the Reuben and I think it might be the best one I've ever had in my life!! We also had the fried cod sandwich which was also incredible. We will be back for sure! Thanks for another great experience!"

"The hostess and waitresses were so nice and friendly! The food was good and affordable and the potions were HUUUUGE. We got the stuffed avocado salad with shrimp and the chicken tacos and sat outside in the cute outdoor area. The inside is HUGE and clean, the bathrooms were spotless. This place was a stop on our road trip and I’m glad we checked it out!"

"If you're drawn to this place by its name "Riverside" to enjoy a relaxing meal with beautiful sunsets across the water, you'll be disappointed. There's no water anywhere near the restaurant (the reason for the overall 3 rating instead of a 4). However, they have a nice outside dining area and the people couldn't be any nicer and our server Anya (sorry if the spelling isn't right) couldn't have been more attentive to our needs or nicer. She was wonderful. The service was fast and they got it right. The food was above average with generous helpings. They had live entertainment all the while we were there. The vocalist was a little too shrill for my taste, but they had a large set of songs."

"I came here to celebrate my nephews birthday with family. We had a late lunch and got to enjoy the views of the river as the sun set. Our server was attentive and very sweet. The staff made sure we were well taken care of and my nephew especially enjoyed his birthday. The food was really good. Great food quality and taste. I will note that we did order spinach and crab dip that tasted more like a crab bisque than dip and had very little spinach but it still tasted pretty good. Everything else was great. Will definitely return."
