"Great atmosphere, great coffee (they serve Reanimator), very bad at logistics. If you come and it's mostly empty it's probably fine, but at this point I walked out after waiting over 50 minutes since ordering, for one latte, while they continued to take new coffee orders faster than the one person on the espresso machine could make them. The barista wasn't particularly slow on individual drinks or anything, but most places have cashiers switch to helping with drinks when a certain level of backlog is hit..."

"Only been to this place once and honestly wasn’t a big fan. The atmosphere was wonderful, they even had a mini section where they sold clothes and hand crafted jewelry and the service was nice and stellar. The food on the other hand wasn’t as nice, with the oatmeal being soaked in water and the breakfast sandwich being on the more runny side. The coffee was pretty decent."

"This was my first time at Hobbs. As others have mentioned, the coffee was excellent. I got an Americano and it was very smooth but might not be strong enough for hardened caffeine addicts (I do admit that could be the fault of my heavy pour of whole milk though so take my opinion about the strength with a grain of salt). Atmosphere was great and I love the location next to the train station. I also ordered an egg and cheese sandwich which was very tasty but I have to knock one star off since the bread was a bit tough. Gotta give it up to the guy manning the grill too. I think he was the only one making food orders and he was serving them up fast despite it being pretty busy. Rock on my guy!"

"Used to be one of my favorite places go... Been out of the area for a while, I was very excited to get a breakfast sandwich here... Things have obviously changed. My sandwich was full of disgusting char. It literally was not even edible. Nowhere near the quality they used to be, plus the prices went up significantly. I have seen throw up more appetizing than this. Waste of my time and money. Very disappointed."

"You go here for a coffee and a small bite. Don't expect anything outrageous foodwise, but it's all ok. Meet up with a friend and chat inside or out. It can get busy with loud music inside. Mostly students and local villagers attend."
