"They increased my home insurance by $350 more than last year for no reason, I never had any claim since this is my first year. I contacted them on phone was asked to email only and I did. Never get a response! BAD, STAY AWAY! This company is a scammer!"
"Not very happy with this company. 1st off I had gotten a quote and been ready 2 weeks prior to closing on my home. I didn't get the insurance binder until the last minute. You cannot call an agent directly. You go through a 1800#. They will get back with you. Email is better. A month after my closing I got a letter from the insurance company that a document was not received and i had 2 weeks until I was cancelled. After speaking with the agent that originally helped me. A signed application was needed and the insurance company did not see where it was uploaded. Go with a local agent and reduce the hassle."
"Try another provider...PLEASE! Agent Evan Pearson. I initially contacted them and agreed to a policy that was about $300 cheaper than my current provider. I was sent the information to complete the e-signature to finalize the policy. (NOTE: They give you about 10 days to sign or they can cancel the account. They do indicate they will return your money if that happens.) Despite multiple calls, I could not sign on using the information they provided. I called Progressive who made me aware that the number I was given did not have enough digits ans was not formatted correctly. I finally asked them to just cancel the policy since I could not use the web site or consistently get help via phone or email. my concern is that if I had a claim, they would not be responsive since they could not solve such a simple problem. They said they sent me a check but I had to file a claim with my credit card. It took a little over 60 days to get my card credited. ONE MORE THING...they reserve the right to change the rate after an agent comes to assess your home!"
"I could not be more pleased with with how quick and easy the change was. My agent, Evan Pearson was Outstanding! Not only was he dedicated to me and getting me the best coverage, but he saved me $1200 a year on my policies and he handled my changes for me by submitting the needed info to my mortgage company. I highly recommend Young Alfred, and you can’t find a better agent than Evan. Oh, and he took care of all this the same day!!! Thanks again, Evan!!!!"
"18 months ago, I filed a large insurance claim after a fire. I was dropped by State Farm and was forced to seek out insurance on the secondary market. Because I am considered a higher risk, my home owners insurance premiums were very high. When my two vehicles came up for renewal, I decided that I would try to find a company that would insure my vehicles and my home together. I did a google search for online brokers. The first two brokers that I tried could not insure me because of my past claim. Then I tried Young Alfred. Because my application required a lot of extra documentation, it took longer to process than expected. It also took several phone calls and emails to YA, to push the application process along, but In the end Young Alfred got me home owners and vehicle insurance for $1400 a year less than what I was paying. Moreover, the insurance had higher limits and was with an 'A' rated company. I am very happy with the result and like having all of my insurance with the same company. The communication problems may have been pandemic related, but once I was able to talk to my agent, he was more than helpful. I plan on staying with Young Alfred for a long time and highly recommend them to others seeking insurance. When other brokers would not even talk to me because of my claims history, Young Alfred went the extra mile and found me great coverage at a great price."
