"We have been customers of Progressive for years. Our home, vehicles, and RV are all covered under Progressive. We had no problems until our dishwasher leaked and ruined our kitchen cabinets, floors, and our subfloor. The beginning of our claim went well. Our insurance adjuster was Alyson Ingle. She said she was covering the replacement of our cabinets, floors, and subfloor. We thought we were in good hands, but over the process of the claim, we realized Alyson had been lying to us. Countless times, she lied and changed our estimate to give us less and less money for our loss. We reached out to her supervisor several times, and he never once returned our emails, phone calls, and voice mails. We were forced to take out a loan to pay for our expenses for this loss. Progressive didn't cover what Alyson said they would. When you pay your premium faithfully over the years, you expect your insurance to act in good faith and take care of you in a loss. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new company for all our insurance needs. Update: You can always tell which companies have good management because someone will respond to your review. No one answered from Progressive."
"If I could rate this 0 stars I would. If anyone is ever thinking about switching to progressive for insurance DONT DO IT. My car has been in the shop for a week now with NO update if it’s getting fixed or totaled, I’ve called daily for an update and I have been told every single time that someone would contact me by the end of the day and no one has. I called the auto body shop where it is getting fixed and they said they gave the estimate of damages to the insurance adjuster and he went out Thursday to look at the car and was supposed to contact me that afternoon but he never did. Yesterday morning I was told my claim was advanced to “triage” where someone would call me back within 24 hours and when I called today because I wasn’t contacted they said I should have never been told that because they aren’t open on weekends. I literally never complain about businesses but this whole experience has been extremely unprofessional, unhelpful and a complete nightmare and I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy."
"I called them to get my insurance changed from Kansas to Delaware and wasted that since I got my auto insurance online that I would first have to cancel it myself before they could be able to help me get my insurance here. So I just called the insurance company myself and am sure that it's no different or possibly even better than if they would have left me hanging out there without any insurance at all. I suppose they are just not interested in making an effort to gain new clients. Thanks anyway."
