"You really have to find a therapist that fits you. Remember that these therapists are human so if u don’t like what they are saying or doing, u don’t have to stay with them or even this company. We already deal with horrible things and to have a therapist tell you “I don’t understand it”, call your venting complaining, “your tears dried up quick” or huff and puff like u are wasting their time is truly exhausting. Know your worth and find a therapist who sees your value in the world. Unfortunately ppl like me don’t receive the same type of care as others do. We don’t get the same sympathy. Again find a suitable therapist for you. Update: The therapist called me and said she never said and did any of those things in which I responded in silence. Why do it then pretend as if you didn’t. A tip for therapists is if you feel as though you can’t connect or help a client, direct them to someone who can rather than make distasteful comments and laugh in their face. Being a decent human being takes NOTHING yet the world still struggles with it."
