"My dads in the hospital wanted to get an update he has severe mental problems and I try getting an update they tell me they can’t disclose it ? Then I tell the nurse well his stuffs at my house and his ps5 is come get it . The nurse tells my dad I was gonna sell it and then he proceeds to call me screaming about it. Nurses lying to a guy who’s in the behavioral unit great idea . Also how can he call me if I’m not on his emergency contact but he can call me. What a joke Every-time I try getting an update they give me attitude and try nicely shrugging me off like I’m not gonna know what mental facility he’s gonna be transferred too unless you guys tell me some dumb laws they talk about but then he can contact me when he wants but I can’t contact him . If it was In person these nurses wouldn’t have the guts to say what they said on the phone or lie on me to my face a bunch of lower class nurses ."
"my kids were sick and weren’t feeling well and medicine wasn’t really working so we brought them in the get checked. they checked both kids temperature 101 and 103 my son’s was at 103 so they said they wanted to check his oxygen they did and they said it was ranging from 95-98 they then gave us the option to leave or stay. Although they stated they had no pediatrician on call or anything. We decided to leave and they said it was fine but if he had any other symptoms that we should bring him back. Then proceeded to call cps stating that he was in critical condition when that wasn’t stated to us while we were there. They gave us the option and told us it would be fine like i stated before, if he had any symptoms to bring him back. Waking up me and the kids 11 pm at night. Just truly disrespectful. I have always had problems with this hospital it just never ends."
"I went there with a broken wrist and they insisted that I needed surgery and that it was the only option for my wrist. I had two nurses and a doctor tell me that. I decided to have someone drive me to a hospital that was closer to home and that I trusted. The hospital that I went to told me that they did not need to do surgery and a closed reduction on my wrist was all that was needed. My wrist has know healed perfectly and without surgery. If I had listened to this hospital my recovery would have been a lot longer and more difficult. They also casted my arm so that I could be transported to the different hospital. The hospital that I went to said that the cast was done terribly and that they are shocked that my arm was not in pain from the cast. Nice people at the hospital but not great on medical advice and jumped to the worst case scenario right away."
"My 76 year old mother arrived there via ambulance on a Saturday around 12:15 am. She had fallen at home and required 15 stitches to her head. They also needed to use glue for a cut to her eye lid and glue for a secondary cut to the back of her head. They were informed she lost consciousness and couldn’t recall how or when she fell. The nurse was considerate and gentle in cleaning the area. They took her for a cat scan and mri and an x-ray of her elbow. Shortly after she returned a gentleman came to talk to her, later found out he was the doctor. He did a terrible job of examining her(at least the letter I received from patient advocacy called it examination) her answers were inconsistent and she said repeatedly she didn’t remember. He had her stand and take a few steps then informed us her hip wasn’t broken, she never once said she had any type of pain there. I was displeased with the treatment and the fact that they discharged a 76 year old cancer survivor that hit her head hard enough to require 15 stitches and glue in multiple places and lost consciousness without even shining a light in her eyes. I contacted patient advocacy first thing Monday morning and explained all I wanted was to have my mothers scans and X-ray’s read again. Over the next two weeks the “advocate” and I spoke several times and he seemed sincere, especially when I told him they had to pull my mother out of MRI because she had 3 necklaces on and she yelled. Then I got a letter on 9/30/23 that sounded like it came from a defense attorney for the hospital, but it was from the advocate. They never did an X-ray on her elbow ( only thing she was complaining about) denied she had jewelry during MRI, said that was C-scan and the jewelry wouldn’t have affected her. This hospital is a disgrace! All I asked from beginning and repeatedly was for a doctor to re-check everything they did, I’m concerned for my mother’s health and it’s impossible to get into a doctors office anytime fast. My mother has had a constant headache and light sensitivity since. Nobody looked at anything and if they did they didn’t notify us. If you need more then a band aid….take the ride to next closest hospital and give yourself a fighting chance! Last thing, when we took her to urgent care to have stitches removed it was painful for her. The nurse removing them couldn’t believe how much of her hair was weaved into the stitches and in the healing cut! IT FORCED ME TO GIVE A STAR TO POST THIS!!"
"This was an absolutely ghastly ER experience. Came in with symptoms of a blood clot and waited hours. Nurse left a USED sharp on my counter - hello OSHA violation! Garbage everywhere. No sharps container in my room. And the communication was awful. My "call bell" was an actual bell. It wouldn't have mattered anyway because their poor nursing staff was so over run anyway. I didn't find out my dimer was 2x the normal level until a nurse told me they're taking me for a CT... Eric, my first nurse, blew 2 veins in my arm. Thank god I wasn't admitted. Please don't go here if you can avoid it. Clearly an overworked and under staffed staff/hospital. I feel sorry for the providers because I think they care but they're clearly burned out and the facility is lacking."
