"On Christmas Day 2023 I toured this interesting campus with my Nikon. Later that day I learned that the university will cease operations at the end of the school year, spring 2024. Best of luck to the students that are currently enrolled."
"Got my Bachelors in Biz MGMT here. Took a few years but the teachers are decent. Concerning amount if Adjunct profs and sinking attendance led to its closure. Cest la vie"
"MY GOD what a nightmare this school is. The staff is so rude and disrespectful. Alls they care about is getting paid. Richard Gebauer will call your personal cellphone at 9:30 on a Sunday telling you that you’re not allowed to state that you’re taking legal action against the school and telling you to shut up when you respond to him. Anne Filippone will continually harass you instead of doing of her job. This schools academic are comparable to a pre school. The buildings are disgusting the food isn’t safe to consume: there’s mold growing in the dorms. Erin McLaughlin will harass you endlessly instead of doing her job. This school will never be forgotten for all the worst reasons. There’s one professor I appreciate for his kindness out of all of them. Key Coleman. I hope he gets a good job somewhere that isn’t associated with this school. He deserves it."
"Absolutely the single worst decision I have ever made in my life. Cabrini University has shown me how bad a College can be. I went here because it was close to my home and they gave me money. The money I was rewarded was given to everyone, even people with far worse academic performance had been given much more. After COVID all of my teachers were either incredibly unqualified for their role, or simply had never even worked a single day in the field. Many of the classes were either heavily politically motivated, or solely textbook driven. One of the most egregious examples of this was my Social Media Marketing class that I took in 2021. The Teacher walked in the first day 20 minutes late and said "I do not know anything about social media or social media marketing, this is the first class that the students are going to be teaching the teacher". This abysmal class ended in a project that had no rubric until the final date. I am not envious of the students that ended up living on the campus, in dorms that I understand are akin to a prison. For commuters you are encouraged to use the commuter lounge in the basement of the Holy Spirit Library. This room is significantly smaller then commuter lounges at any other college, is usually filled with trash, smells of mildew and moss, and is perfectly adorned with dusty popcorn ceiling. This dismal 1960's era building is probably the perfect metaphor for this college. Worn out, lacking in character, and something that isn't worth your time. If you do end up going to Cabrini, enjoy bingo. This is the only school run event that people show up to (That aren't forced to) and it is run as poorly as you could imagine."
"Oldest daughter just started there. School has a very good communications program. Very impressive video studio facility. Nice radio station. Has a digital media course concentration also. Very impressive for a small suburban college. And yes, the campus is beautiful."
