"Such a beautiful trail. Sounds of the water, birds and outdoors was very relaxing. Not too crowded. Trail goes from Wilmington Riverfront to Olde NewCastle. You can also bike the trail. Scenery is so beautiful even on an overcast day."
"Love this place. Very clean easy trail to walk have bug spray walking the marsh I personally had a lot of bugs just around me. Funny story a dragon fly hit me literally in my eye, it s a lot of those. Bathroom are in the building beautifully maintained. I went with no water or anything really didn’t know what I was getting myself into so definitely be hydrated. Can’t wait to go back."
"Perfect for a relaxed family bike ride! Lovely scenery, 75% flat, paved, few road crossings (with lights) - I can't imagine a way to make a *casual* ride any better. Keep in mind my 6yo crushed every hill, so if you're looking for a workout this isn't it. But for a leisurely 14 miles or so, park at the nature preserve and go have fun!"
"The "JAM" is a trail that connects the Wilmington river front to old New Castle's Battery Park. It is approximately 5-6 total miles, depending on exactly where you join the trail; but is approximately 10 miles if you include the river front and Battery Park. Most of the trail is a flat, paved surface, but there are a couple unique items as well. There are long sections of elevated boardwalk, and a nice bridge over the Christina River near the DuPont Environmental Education Center. There are also two pass-thru tunnels under routes 295, and 13."
"Wonderful trail. The trail is a raised boardwalk over the wetland and then paved on each end of the boardwalk."
