"I did love the items I purchased. Proprietor overly intrusive in attempts to be helpful. Aisles barely allow one person to navigate through them due to the clutter. Many items unreachable without shifting piles of other items. I was shopping and carrying items, which were commandeered (probably loss prevention, which I get), but there was no secure space so the proprietor just placed them on a shelf where other people were shopping. Proprietor was trying to Google search to price unmarked items as I was trying to check out and enlisting other shoppers to help look for identifying marks. She ended up lowering some prices and making up other prices, and then figured my total with a calculator and much-used scrap paper. Individually, any of these experiences might have been just a quirky shop. Taken all together, it was a chaotic and unpleasant experience."
"reading all of the reviews.. clearly- these people haven’t been to a REAL thrift shop because this? this was a dream come true for someone who looks for thrift shops like this. Julia and her staff were as nice as can be. If you can’t afford something, she will try to help meet you where you’re at as long as it’s reasonable of course. You should be happy she has so much to offer people!!! VERY HAPPY W OUR FROG!! thank you!!"
"A lower rating is needed. This place was unbelievable. The fire marshal definitely needs to be involved. The smell was musty. Cluttered is an understatement. More like hoarders. The prices were above brand new costs. Some items were broken and dirty. Other items were actually trash. The owner was running around frantically and kept asking what people were holding or what they were looking at. There was a younger woman standing near the front and after saying "excuse me" she still stood there watching as if she was security. There wasn't much room for walking. I believe this makes "thrift" stores look bad. This also makes Ocean City look like garbage. The lady must own that space because there is no way anyone would rent to this. In this photo she is writing down the information for a small Peppa Pig toy he bought. It had a brand new sticker from another store for $5 and she sold it for $3. This was her I guess documenting her sales. Not sure."
"Just went today, june 18. Yes it is a shop full items to shop through, and there are some parts of the story that you have to be careful because it’s a bit crowded. That said, the place is FULL of treasures! This is exactly my kind of thrift store; I left with a super unique vintage necklace, a long sleeved lace onesie thing for adults, and a cute kerchief dress. Most things I saw had an appropriate price tag, and it sounded like she would do some haggling if you ask. I was pleased with all my items so was fine with the price tags. Owner said they’re working on getting things organized so can’t wait to come back later this summer and see what else I can find!"
"I read a bunch of these negative reviews and though I'd see this Thrift shop myself. The woman inside was very friendly, and did not seem like she was following us around at all. However, the store was extremely overcrowded with stuff and a bit hard to maneuver within. Everything I looked at was terribly overpriced. Old worn baseball caps were $10, an old air fryer was $70, $a super old TV was $300, and so on. Overall, it was worth stopping by just to kill a little time, but I wouldn't see myself actually buying anything of use here."
