"I have been a customer of Palmer's for a few years now and a few appliances, but I guess they don't care about keeping their customers for future purchases. My most recent purchase was a GE washing machine the Friday before Labor Day weekend. When they installed it (super friendly, they've installed for me before) they failed to balance it, no biggie. Things were spinning out of control for a week or so and then Josh came and balanced things out (super friendly and knowledgeable). Unfortunately, when I do a fairly large load it still spins out of control even though I'm pretty sure it is totally balanced and it's an extra large capacity and I never have too much in there. I have to re-adjust the clothes. Not okay. Also finally did a bleach wash and it actually bleached two subsequent dark colored loads after the white bleached one. So Chuck the owner came out to check it out (NOT friendly, quietly annoyed upon arrival, everything is user error, etc, etc.) You see where I'm going here. He tells me I need to hit the deep fill button. I tell him I DID, in the past, Josh told me to, but only on larger loads, which I had to stop doing because then it will spin out of control (I actually have video of it, LOTS of video of it) It looks like the machine will actually scoot right out of my house. But his little error detecting machine he has hooked up says I haven't been using the deep fill, so I'm not using the machine right. Well no. I don't use the deep fill because I've only done tiny little washes because I'm afraid to do large loads because it will spin out of control. Also he says he has this machine at home and he has NEVER seen this happen with the bleach. So after him telling me I'm not using it right again and talking over me and me telling him the machine is a piece of junk, we both told each other to have a nice day in lieu of other not so nice words. I wish I had my old machine back and just repaired it. I will eventually get rid of this hunk of junk and find a machine that works properly, but it won't be through Palmer's, which I thought was my place for appliances. I'm sad and disappointed. It was close and convenient."
"We can't say enough good things about Palmer's Appliances and Leanne. It's rare to get the trifecta of service, price, and quality, but we get it with Palmers. We already used them for service - after Chuck's service visit, my husband said he would never use anyone else (we had another company recommend we replace the appliance, Chuck saved the day and hardly charged us). We recently ordered 4 new appliances. I wanted to order from Palmers to support local and because we already use them for service but I needed to make sure they were priced competitively. I did my research and was surprised to see they didn't just match what I was finding, they beat the prices. When there was a problem with one of the appliances at installation, I give huge kudos to Leanne and the professional way she handled it. It was taken care of immediately and fairly, there was no blame or finger-pointing. Feels rare these days to get this kind of service. Thank you Leanne, Chuck, and all the employees at Palmers."
"We originally purchased our refrigerator from Home Depot. When the installers from Home Depot finally showed up at 6:30 in the evening, they asked us if we had a tape measure. These were two many red flags for us to ignore. So we canceled our order and visited Palmer's the next day. All the services and support Palmer's Appliance offers are under one roof, making the process seamless. Visit Palmer's Appliances for great staff, delivery, and appliance services in Ocean City, Berlin, and Ocean Pines."
"This is based on current experience, will come back to report installation. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff!! Support local small businesses!! They have come out to repair various appliances for us. Always very considerate & helpful techs, especially Josh, he’s awesome! We went in to purchase a new washing machine. Just beautiful, you aren’t saving money at “big box” stores! It’s worth checking out, seriously comparable pricing."
"We ordered 3 appliances from them and our dryer was defective (happens sometimes). We used it 5 times and it is completely unable to function. It broke in March 2022 and we were supposed to be getting a replacement today after hours of phone calls and no one called, showed up or returned my message from Palmers. I was unable to rent my place out nor live down here for the summer because of this . I am beyond disgusted with their service and sense of responsibility for selling a faulty product and will be contacting a lawyer as not only have I lost the money in which I paid for the dryer but I also lost rental revenue for the past 7 months. Definitely go else where for your appliances."
