"Loved this place! We went for restaurant week with our couple friends. The service and food was great. We loved the butter chicken pizza and shrimp. The steak was also great. We are definitely going back."
"We had not eaten out as a family for a long time and so were excited to try Atlas New World Bistro for restaurant week. Our two teenage boys, who are typically picky eaters, completely enjoyed all three courses. We tried the Butter Chicken Flatbread, Beef Croquet, Steak Salad, and Fried Calamari for the first course. We tried the strip steak and roast chicken for second, and had chocolate gelato and the banana tart for dessert. Everything was so delicious. We loved each dish from the first course; the steak was juicy and perfectly cooked; the chicken had a flavorful mushroom sauce that was amazing. We had such a wonderful time from sharing good food. We will definitely be back!"
"We were impressed!! Exceptional food and service and fair prices for north shore Nassau county."
"This bistro sits below the Roslyn Hotel, by Hilton. The restaurant features a full bar and plenty of seating in a nice quiet atmosphere. The restaurant was fairly quiet when we came. Service was a bit slow but friendly. We went with a burger and the lobster ravioli. The burger was cooked to order and the fries were a nice pairing overall. The lobster ravioli was nice with the duck bacon a nice add. The ravioli seemed to be made in house, had a nice flavor, and was served piping hot. The meal was good and priced similar to what we experienced in NYC."
"Don’t judge a book by its cover. I was really looking forward to dining here upon seeing the menu online after booking an evening stay at The Roslyn Hotel. The dining room had a nice ambiance, but without question this was a major disappointment! Ordered the warm marinated olives to start (some were warm, some were room temperature and some were ice cold), along with the shrimp cocktail that was essentially 4 extra large shrimp in a bowl of ice, one lemon wedge and a small portion of cocktail sauce for $25. My entree was the Za’atar rack of lamb for $68 - requested medium but came out rare bordering on blue (had to be sent back). I expected better for $68, and dessert was a pistachio tartufo that was stale, full of mold and disgusting. Like it was sitting in the kitchen for at least a decade. Inedible. The restaurant was empty, however the restaurant staff kept themselves busy rarely checking-in except when needed and ensuring we were out of the restaurant by closing time at 9pm. Breakfast the following morning was no pleasure as well ordering room service. I decided to order a full English breakfast after seeing it on the menu. The photo below is what was delivered to me. Does this look like a full English breakfast?? Since when does a full English breakfast come with home fries? Where are the mushrooms, grilled slices of tomato, beans, black pudding and sunny side up eggs?? An American continental breakfast would be a more accurate description here. Deceiving. In addition, I was double charged for the $3 delivery fee and a very sour half and half portion was served with my coffee. Inedible. On top of that, this “full English breakfast” with a cup of coffee and glass of orange juice was $45!! Outrageous. With regard to the comment below from restaurant management, I will not be giving the restaurant or hotel another go. I will be taking my business to the Hilton Long Island/Huntington, which is a better hotel and has a way better restaurant! Horrible, Overpriced, Lacking in Quality and Standards!! 1 out of 5."
