"They're not good at finishing it. Hard to get a response from them; Slow process and they never finish on schedule; Issues with the quality of the swimming pool and concrete deck; The lawns in the yard were damaged. I would not recommend this company."
"Only went with them after our pool service merged with them in 2020. Opening left me wondering if our pool was ok. Had some challenges all season. Closing again had me worried. Getting ready to reopen with another service. The water is super disgusting. First time in years it has been this gross. Everyone I know that used Masten after the merge had similar if not much worse experience than we had. I can't say I have ever seen such consistent bad experiences with one company. Avoid at all costs."
"RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT KEEP THEIR WORD OR BACK UP THEIR WORKMANSHIP. WE HAD POOL INSTALLED BY THIS COMPANY IN APRIL 2020. THEY FAILED TO INSTALL THE CONCRETE DECK PROPERLY. THE SLOPE OF THE CONCRETE CAUSED RAIN WATER RUNOFF TOWARD OUR HOME. THE OWNER ASSURED US IN WRITING HE WOULD RESOLVE ANY ISSUES RESULTING FROM THIS FAULTY INSTALLATION. NOW IT IS 4 MONTHS AFTER INSTALLATION AND WE HAVE EROSION OF DIRT FROM UNDER CONCRETE THAT WAS INSTALLED BY MASTEN POOLS. OWNER SAID NO DISCUSSION INDICATED IF I WANT IT FIXED IT WOULD BE AT MY EXPENSE. WE PAID IN GOOD FAITH FOR A QUALITY JOB AND DIDN'T GET IT. THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW IN A COMEDY OF SCREW UPS THROUGHT OUT THE ENTIRE POOL CONSTRUCTION. THEY DON'T LISTEN TO INSTRUCTIONS. NO COORDINATION BETWEEN OWNER AND EMPLOYEES. ONE HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE OTHER IS DOING. WE MADE AN MISTAKE DOING BUSINESS WITH MASTEN POOLS. I HOPE YOU DON'T."
