Reviews
"The McDonald's of halal food. A chain with awful ingredients and slow, uncaring people working the counter. Also, the white sauce has like 30 ingredients in it, including high fructose corn syrup. Typical chain food made in a lab with dozens of ingredients by "food scientists".. On the other hand, Zaiqa Halal down the street is WAYY better. More food, fresh cooked in front of you, very respectful attentive people."
"Delicious, nourishing layered flavors, open early for those of us who eat lunch early because of logistics. Some of the best meals on the island."
"The food is good and spicy. Dishes are prepared at your request after they fill container about half with rice. Too much for my taste, even when asked for "very little rice". The rice is savory and well cooked, not white. The meats whether chicken or otherwise are diced small and very tasty. The salad compliments are great, but not enough usually getting onto the dish. The red sauce is very spicy, the white sauce is really good, not sure if its yogurt, taste more like mayo. Over all if you like spicy food, you should be thrilled. If not better say "mild please". Even without any hot sauce the dishes are deliciously savory and flavorful. The drinks in my opinion well overpriced, $2.44 for something $1.00 everywhere else. Most folks do take out, as seating is limited to a few tables."
"Halal food. Fast food. Burgers, gyros, Philly cheese etc. There are few seats but mostly the to-go orders. Expect delays. Have patience placing orders. Make sure they understand the order."
