"We love Cupola Park. They are plenty of things to do that will keep you children busy for hours on a nice day. You can even launch your boat there if you wanted to. Sometimes my wife and I will go there just to have a quiet picnic lunch. We have played there as kids, just like our kids, and hopefully one day our grandkids will get to enjoy it too. It really is a great little spot to relax and fish or just watch the water fowl. I high recommend stopping by when you have some time to kill and get away from the hustle and bustle, even if it's only for a moment."
"I’ve enjoyed taking my children to this playground multiple times. However, the last few times we came we were completely appalled by the lack of cleanliness. We like to bring a picnic lunch to eat in the playground area, but there is only one available trash receptacle, and it was already overflowing and trash was scattered around it. On a windy day, it’s impossible to keep trash from blowing away. Next, two of my children needed to use the restroom. It was very disturbing to find that BOTH the womens’ and men’s’ restrooms had no working electricity or water! The men’s room did not have toilet paper. I had to prop open the door to let my toddler use the toilet; otherwise there wouldn’t have been any light to see while inside. Additionally, the toilets were completely full of excrement and toilet paper, and with no working water there was no way to flush! Also no way to wash your hands afterwards! There were two other adults at the restrooms the same time we were, and they refused to even go inside because (they said) it was so disgusting. These unsanitary conditions (especially for children) are unacceptable for a public park."
"It's a small park, but it has a boat launch area. A nice playground for the kids. There is a first come first serve pavilion. There are a few stages for group gatherings. And and area to walk your dog. They do have a bathroom, but it's locked certain times of the year. They have a trash can & a bag station for dog waste."
"Since our boys were toddlers (they're now 8 & 9) we've taken them to what they know as the "big park" . The playground is perfect for little guys but even I take a turn on the swings. There's plenty to do and for the most part the area is clean & free of trash which is nice to know that people respect & care for their neighborhoods & parks. Feeding the ducks and the geese has always been their favorite & sometimes you'll even catch a glimpse of some fish jumping in the water. It's a nice day out away to take a timeout from screen time."
"My husband and I first stumbled on this park on our drive home from Mazatlan, Mexico about 4 yrs ago. We were traveling home to NJ with our dog, Chance, and had a little barbecue for lunch. We returned this year for a picnic lunch on our way home from a winter in Florida with our two dogs, Chance & Chloe. It's a beautiful small town park by the water and we think it's wonderful especially the very old & very tall bald cypress tree."
