"First time at the Mission. Great place! The smell, OMG! Felt like a southern BBQ joint on the side of the road. Authentic BBQ! Don't put anything on the brisket! Eat as is. I got the 3 meat plate. Smoked turkey was the most moist piece of white meat I have ever tasted. Love the decor. It's more than decor, it's AMERICA!! Stayed busy through all of lunch! Just go!"
"Great food. The NC style pork sandwich the coleslaw is my go to. It's convenient that they have different style of bbq sauce to add to your entree at the table. I have tried them all and have settled in Smoky Mountain as my favorite."
"First of all, I appreciate the creativity of this restaurant in trying to capture different barbecue takes throughout the United States, fun idea. I got a 3 meat plate (brisket, pork, sausage) - food was fine - a bit underwhelming. I did enjoy the various sauces available. Most had a nice amount of heat. (Pictured my 3 favorites) Not especially busy on a Monday evening. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Outdoor seating available."
"The food was really good. I’m not big on eating beef or pork but this place is the only exception lol.. The only thing that wasn’t very good was the coleslaw. It was bland and dry.. Other than that, the cashiers were very nice and the service was quick."
