"Excellent service from our waitress. Cocktails were great, though took some time. Appetizers were great, but that was easily the worst filet mignon I've ever had. Fatty and tough. I forced it down after adding salt and pepper, because I was hungry, but two others at our table couldn't finish theirs. At $48 for the meal, not going back, even if it was $18."

"I wanted to love this place but was left very underwhelmed. Let me start off with the positives though, the flatbread we shared was delicious and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful. The service was where we had issues. While the staff were very kind and respectful, it seemed as though people were not assigned to specific positions as it was very difficult to track anyone down and get assistance when it was time to order or get the bill. There was also confusion with the bill and being charged for an entire bottle of sparkling water instead of a glass. Overall there was just a lot of confusion."

"Service was great. Steak was a little salty but also very good. I have no complaints. The restaurant stays busy so I'd recommend a reservation, especially on weekends. There is no sound barrier between the bar and the dining room, and the entire building is in desperate need of acoustic treatment. As a result, weekend nights can be a bit boisterous in the dining area"

"I stopped in for dinner on a whim with my family. It was my first visit, but certainly won't be my last. The atmosphere was inviting, the service exceptional. And the food was splendid! We started with a cheese board featuring three different cheeses and various toppings. For our main courses, I had the seafood special -- a fish filet wrapped around lump crab meat and shrimp, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was outstanding. My wife had a lobster ravioli, and my mom had a salmon risotto. Although we skipped dessert (the portions are quite copious), we saw a nearby couple sharing a dessert which looked good. I highly recommend this restaurant for its excellent service, enjoyable atmosphere, reasonable prices, and most of all, its delicious food."

"We held our daughter's baby shower at the Gables at Chadds Ford today. To say that it was amazing is an understatement. Carol and Jess were spectacular. They made us feel so special and they were absolutely wonderful. The food was amazing. The place was immaculate. We would highly recommend this venue for any special events you are planning."
