"If I could gove lower than 1 star I would. What terrible customer service. They only offer problems and no solutions for vehicles that were towed in by police after an accident. They only take fax for the tow receipt because they dont have a company email. All they do is site laws when you ask questions. Car was sitting there for 3 days, and I am just finding out about it. When I asked, he said that it was the police's fault. Bottom line only take your car to places that offer solutions to your problems, which IS NOT Harold's."
"I had a car towed there and when I went to pick it up they only take cash only. No credit card no personal checks. Very expensive because the tow charge is $200 plus $60 per day storage. And cash only. Would not recommend this place except for demolition."
"It was ok. I was there for service. My car was towed there due to an accident. Wasn't happy about the price to get my car out so I could get it back home. However., the guy was nice, and courteous."
"I'm sure they give wonderful service I just wish I met them under different circumstances rather than towing my vehicle from 50 yards away cost alot but everyone has to make a living. Very nice men. Great doing business with."
"As many other reviews state over a period of years, this is an unprofessional group of men taking advantage of their contract with state police for towing. Unlike those claims paid out by insurance, uninsured customers can expect their towing and storage fees to be exorbitant, the basic courtesy of customer service to be nonexistent. In fact, these men will go out of their way to create conflict in order to squeeze more fees. As noted in other reviews, this seems to be worse with women. As noted in other reviews, both on Yelp and The Yellow Pages, the credit card machine is never working and cash is required. It is my thought that cash from those towing/storage customers who can’t be billed to insurance is income that this corrupt business simply funnels into their pockets, untaxed. Having had an insured vehicle experience there a year earlier, that is the obvious conclusion in the very different experiences I have had there. Bilk payments unhindered from insurance companies, maybe add on some fees for getting things out of your car, and then cash in on the car for salvage. If no insurance payment is coming, charge a lot of fees, say it must be cash only, and still keep the car for salvage. Lots of money moving through here and if you’re in an accident you should request a different towing service. Try Bett’s."
