"The absolute worst repair service I ever seen . They have canceled on me now 3 x. Now want to schedule another week ahead . They call the day of and cancel . This has been over 8 weeks they have pushed me along. Never use Sears home services to fix your appliances . You will be pushed along for weeks and weeks . 24 hour service . ( yeah right ) please do not waste your time waiting . This review is intended for Sears home service department . If I could rate 0 stars I would . Never got the service . Wish I read reviews before I wasted weeks of my time . Called off work 2 x for nothing . I will not be falling for this a 3 rd time . Will be leaving review on bbb as well ."
"Paul came to our house to repair our washer. First he introduced himself and was immediately greeted by our dogs. Dogs can tell you a lot about a person. In this case they were not wrong. Paul is a good man and has a heart of gold. Paul had to order some parts which meant he had to reschedule and return. He just left and everything is working. Thanks for the great work, Paul."
"This was the worst experience I have ever had from a service I paid for in my 50 years on this planet. There customer service is the worst I have ever dealt with ever and I would never recommend them. I first started with scheduling an appointment online where no one showed or called. When I called they proceeded to tell me that the information I entered in there system was not correct. As if I do not know what my own name is, where I built my house, or what my phone number was. Not to mention the washer and dry I had was not new or purchased by me and my husband. After hanging up on me, I finally talked to someone who changed my info in the system and sent someone out. When the repair guy came out I paid for the repair and for them to clean my dryer when they returned. it was a different repair person that came back out and when I told him a bout cleaning the dryer he I don't know anything about it it's not in his notes and call the office. So I called the office and again I am being told who I am and what the conversation was that I had with the first repair person. Then I said well We need to talk to the first person that came out, I was told its not in our system.... this place is totally unprofessional, there customer service / schedulers are the worst and if I were anyone in need of these types of services SEARS REPAIR would be the last place on god green earth I would ever recommend."
"A Sears repairman came to my house the day after I called for service. They fixed the belt on my dryer, which had stopped spinning, and cleaned out the completely blocked vent that blows to the outside-I did not know it was blocked!!. I was probably days away from a dryer firer. And, the dryer should be more efficient at drying my clothes. Thanks Sears!!"
"THIS IS A REVIEW FOR NATIONWIDE SEARS APPLIANCE REPAIR and not the Sears Hometown store in Middletown, DE. Sears appliance repair sent me a link for a review, and it seems to reference Sears Hometown store in Middletown. I have a Kenmore Elite French door fridge that is 3 1/2 years old. It suddenly stopped working. I called the 800# provided with my owners manual and got an appointment 2 days later. The technician was professional, on time, and nice. He replaced the faulty compressor, and flushed, drained and refilled the coolant system. I paid $421 for labor (compressor was under warranty). I waited the 24-36 hours, the ice maker made ice, and I thought I was all set. The following morning, the ice it had made was melted and the fridge wasn't cold. The repair didn't work. I called the 800# again to have someone come back out, and the next appointment is in 11 days! I pleaded with the representative, spoke with the escalation team, all to no avail. They do not care to correct their company's mistake in a timely manner. The escalation team member, Frank, couldn't get his contacts on the phone, and gave me a website, because he had to get off the phone to help other customers. Sears used to be the Gold Standard; it is no wonder they're going out of business with customer treatment like that. Now, for Sears Hometown store in Middletown. I have bought several appliances from them over the years and have always been happy. I decided to take all of my paperwork to them and see if I could get a credit for the repair bill and apply it to a new fridge or if there is anything else they can do. The owner took my information and will have his service manager try to escalate with Sears Appliance Repair on Monday. Thank you for that!"
