"This isn't a store front, so the repair technicians don't work for them they are purely subcontractors. Address is also bogus as no business by that name at that address. They ask for payment of $59.95 upfront just ylto schedule appointment. The company is paid a percentage of whatever subcontractors charge. Would never use for any repair."
"Demand money up front then jack up the price of parts. Wants over 300 to fix a old dryer. Look elsewhere. I gave them a shot really hoping for something reasonable and got the opposite."
"Very poor customer service. I had to tell the tech how to do his job basically because he looked very concerned and then when he was checking out the drier he touched a hot wire and ground together me saying I wouldn't do that and it made a massive spark fighting his face. I also agree with one of the other comments I am not sure if he works for the company Elkton apliance repair because when he gave me his card it had a totally different name on the card. Once he figured out that he could not fix our drier he acted like he had to use the rest room and went into the bathroom and made a phone call. He comes out of the bathroom pretending to dry his hands when he never using the bathroom anyway and then comes out looking at the drier again and said the door switch had a burn on it with it does not and works properly and starts to close everything up once he realizes he isn't getting one over on me and said he could not fix the drier good luck and packed up his stuff and left out house also he electrocute himself twice and tried to burn up my drier motor needless to say I don't think he knew how to work on an apliance at all. And there was an issue with the cost because on the phone they told me 5995 and when he got to my house he wanted 75 bucks with I was not paying so I called the company and they told me the 5995 was I'd I paid with a credit card not cash with to me cash is always a cheaper price and once n for all what were they really trying to do get my credit card info and use it or charge me whatever they wanted to very poor I do not recommend this bunch of people to work on anything at all"
"Don't waste your time dealing with Elkton Appliance. They farm out your job to some sub-contractor, who then requires full payment, preferably through Paypal, before they will order parts or do the repair. Then once they have your money, they keep putting you off, ignore your inquiries, are very RUDE on the phone, and lie. I paid for a washer repair on 12/7, it is now 12/20, the tech keeps saying he hasn't received a part he ordered. He told me he had ordered the parts on 12/7 when I paid him. Last week he promised to have the part overnighted; that didn't happen. Then he said it would be done by today; that didn't happen. I have filed a complaint with Paypal and requested a refund."
"Very poor customer service. All too happy to make an appointment and take your credit card information and charge you, but then reschedule and reschedule and then cancel all together!!! Now I have just wasted a week with a broken appliance waiting for someone who never comes."
