"Should’ve written this review months ago, but late is better than never. As a lifelong skateboarder and now a parent of a few skateboarders I’ve gotta say that Get Gnarly is not only the best skate shop in O.C. but I’d beg to say maybe in all of the state of Maryland. The owner Dave and his Wife Jamie are the most down to earth, real people you’ll meet on the boardwalk. My wife and i walked in and instantly i noticed. skateboard i had at 11 years old ( 1987) and struck up a conversation with Dave and Jamie, well that conversation turned into two days of stopping in and reminiscing about growing up skating and where the sport is now. If you are young or old, new or an old school bones brigade kind of guy or gal, Get Gnarly has the gear you need.Can’t wait to go back and add to my collection of boards."

"AMAZING, I loved this place the second I stepped in, the moment I walked in it felt like a second home, from the employees to the customer’s the whole place is just amazing, the vibe is beautiful and they have a wide variety of set ups from completes all the way to tools, safety pads, and helmets or clothing. I would hang out there all day had I lived in OC MD."

"Saw this little skate shop tucked away near the board walk! They have really cool and great quality skate gear from trucks to wheels to skates decks and really nice quality clothes of their own brand! Both of the store employees I talked to were really nice! Want to go back and grab some more clothes before I leave ocean city.. all around dope shop!"

They helped me find the perfect skate shoes that fit my style ($65) and replace my old ratty pair as well allowed my gf to try on jackets (just $30!!!). I have been to so many skate shops that the workers know nothing about skating I am really happy I stopped there."
