"I like coming to the gym..it makes me feel good and I miss it if I can't be there. That being said....I'm angry that someone was let go of their job because they brought their son into work while he was on Christmas break. He is legally blind and is away from home Monday thru Friday because he attends school for the blind in Maryland. He never bothered anyone and was always polite. It's sad that this gym owner and some of the people are so insensitive. His mom was a very hard worker and was liked by so many people. I hope this sits on their conscience..for a long time that they acted this way towards a handicapped young man."

"UPDATE Jan. 2, 2024: I'd been away from my regular workouts at the gym for family reasons. I returned this evening to find that my favorite feature (mentioned below in my original review), the Women's Only Gym, had been removed. The facility is now one large, open gym. They have added more free weights and new machines. While the updates make the gym more appealing aesthetically, my reason for creating a membership is now gone. Because of this, I'm downgrading my review from 5 stars to 4, and I will no longer workout here. Considering the upgrades and the pleasant staff, I believe that the reader would likely find this to be a nice neighborhood facility in which to workout. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I have been a member here for almost a year. When I first joined, I enrolled in personal training sessions. My trainer was personable and coached me well. She had a flexible schedule and contacted me weekly to make sure we could meet. On my own, I typically workout twice a week. Every time I've come for workouts or training, the trainers/associates at the check-in have been pleasant, and the facility has always been clean. I've changed clothes in the bathroom a few times, and it was clean, also. My favorite feature is the Women's Only gym; it has plenty of equipment to get a full body workout and cardio. I like being separate from the men. Overall, I'd recommend Pure Fitness to anyone looking for a gym."

"I enjoy Pure Fitness and the fact that I can go to any of the locations (why I gave it 4 Stars), except in the evenings. Young kids like to crowd the machines, get in the way and people don't know how to re-rack their plates after using the machines. I just wish we could replace some of the bent barbells with a few power bars, and maybe get some Kilos. There have also been times where as soon as I walk in the doors, all I smell is Weed. That is not what I want to smell when going to workout. I understand the laws have changed, but people will smoke it in their cars right before walking into the gym, then the whole place stinks (Seaford). I know there isn't much that can be done, but wanted to address the issue. Either way, I will still go and workout. Its just annoying."

"I LOVE this gym so much. The environment is so friendly. Last week I hurt my foot there (my own fault because I’m clumsy) and all the staff were so attentive, brought me ice, offered to walk me to my car and everyday since they ask me how my foot is when I come in. I 100% recommend this gym to anyone whether you’re beginner or more advanced. Also the spin classes are SO fun and while they kick my butt I always feel so productive athletically after them."

"Can't say enough good things about this location. Staff is very friendly greeting you when you enter and leave unlike the other locations. Staff pays attention to detail in the gym as well walking the floor, re-racking weights or just making sure everyone is set and knows how to use machines. Proactive, not just sitting at the front counter on their phones. Clean, functioning equipment as well as clean gym. My last visit I was there for almost 3 hours between working out and sauna. Not once in those 3 hours, 1030-1pm did I have to wait for equipment nor was I bugged while using equipment by other patrons unlike other locations. HIGHLY recommend this location out of the other locations I have used by PURE."
