"Prices are too high. Even their store brand is too high. They make you use self-serve at a certain time. That is not good if someone has a full cart. The wait can be very long. They lock up their store scooters after 8 pm. How is someone who is in need of assistance suppose to shop"
"This was my first time here. Prices are too high. Even the store brand is very high. The young girl at customer service was not very friendly. They shut down the lines at a certain time, and you must use self-service. This makes your wait time very long if someone has a full cart. Also, they put up their scooters that are used for older people or someone that is handicap. There was an older lady who needed assistance, but she wasn't able to get one of the scooters because they were locked up."
"Wynnewood Giant is about the right size to shop efficiently. The new extra self checkout and extra exit is convenient too. There is a very decent kosher section with meat and bake goods too. Giant bagels are right for the textures and price. Look for the half price bake goods rack for value. I welcome the sales frequency that I stock up on."
"Only self checkout with no usable bags to put goods in. Door to enter was broken. Regularly stocked items are out of stock. Lines are extraordinarily long despite the terrible state of the market with half the inventory and maze of remodeled isles. The experience gets more shocking each time. Not making the mistake again."
"Had a nightmare experience on January 21st, the first day the no bag policy went into effect in lower merion township. First, the self service stations for larger orders do not function well for larger orders. There is no space to stage groceries after scanning. You have scan and put them directly into a bag. That’s fine if you have 8 items, difficult if you have 30. Second, managing bags is confusing. You cannot place bags you bring until you enter how many you are bringing. Hard to guess ahead of time. Then at the end, you have to enter that you used as “0” if you brought bags. If you need bags from store, they are not located at the stations. It appears there is one staff person dispensing bags and no signage explaining how or where to get bags. Third, the process for scanning fresh produce is slow and finicky. It’s a disincentive to eat healthy. Lines extended to the opp ends of the grocery aisles. Everyone was angry with each other and the staff. I’m giving a rating of 2 stars because of one conscientious staff person who helped customers deal with the scanning and bagging. GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER, GIANT. If you are going to insist on self service, fix your systems and set-up to make this workable! I’ve shopped here for 20 years and will now be taking my business elsewhere."
