"This RiteAid is NOT customer focused. Is it any wonder they are going out of business?"
"Absolutely horrible pharmacy. I walked in for a Covid booster only to be turned away for not having an appointment. The website said that walk ins were welcomed, but then the pharmacist said walkins are not welcomed because they are a busy pharmacy, keep in mind absolutely no one was there at the time. Was there for 15 minutes and maybe one other customer came in. I’m a pharmacist, you don’t turn away a pregnant patient looking to get her vaccine. Seriously do better."
"I have been a loyal customer of this store throughout its changes of ownership (Eckard's, Thrift Drug, et al.) for 30+ years. NO MORE! I purchased 3 items that were sale-priced and didn't realize I'd been charged retail until I got home. I returned with the original register tape and the 2 products I had not opened several days later for a price adjustment. (The sale was still going on.) In fact, I used the plastic bag I got when I bought them. I have had a Rite Aid discount card since this store became a branch of that company. Before that, I bought off-brand disposable diapers (switched from cloth ones only when I had to change from an at-home provider to a group day care) exclusively from this store. In fact, we still use their on-site pharmacy. (NO MORE for them, too.) The same cashier, a pleasant and attentive young man, began to process my adjustment. Then he informed me that he couldn't refund the difference on my coffee because it wasn't in the plastic bag with the two boxes of cereal. Wait, what? I had never run into this problem at any retailer! All the pertinent info was right there on the register tape. Turned out the store required the ISBN # or some esoteric nonsense which I'd NEVER had to provide for a simple correction to the Seller's error! Okay, now I had a mission. I returned the same day with my crumpled up coffee bag. Same cashier. But he was having a cash register problem when suddenly, an older female employee swooped down on us, screeching like a harpy, "WHEN DID YOU BUY THIS?! IT BETTER NOT HAVE BEEN LAST WEEK! IT WASN'T ON SALE LAST WEEK!" Both the cashier and I kind of went into shock. Honestly, I don't remember details afterward. I got my minuscule cash refund and hurried out. That was my last transaction with a store I'd dealt with since 1990, maybe even before that. CVS, here I come!"
"This store deserves NO STARS, the female manager who works there is an evil and heartless individual, who refuses to do her job properly. She lied to me and said there was nothing she could do about a gift card that was not activated by the cashier who scanned it. When in fact there is something that can be done... I will contact her boss right away."
