Spot's Spot Pet Grooming

"Took my cat in last week for a cut and I specifically told them I didn't want a lion cut, just even all around. They said okay. I, in fact, did not get a lion. I got an alien back instead. He's normally a very aloof cat but since coming back, he's been super clingy. I suspect rough handling, there were some clipper cuts under his armpit. Fast forward to today, My vet is telling me that he has to be seen because we told them about his irritation under his arm pit. They think he might need antibiotics now and best of we go to the ER. This is insane. I regret leaving my cat here."

"Just adopted this floofy girl, who was a stray, from a rescue. She had a lot of matting throughout her coat. The lady did a great job giving her a lion cut. Parking tip: it’s safer to park on Howard. I foolishly parked on Girard & Front and grown men started fighting one another in front of my car. The groomers allowed me to sit inside and wait until the fighting cleared up outside."

"The owner, Phil, is super nice and hospitable and so is the rest of his staff. Rich gave my dog Ace the best haircut that he’s had since I moved to Philly a year ago! I am very happy with Ace’s haircut and so is he :)"

"I adore Phil and all of his employees. They are so safe, I think it’s so smart they keep the dogs in crates when they’re between baths and trims. Compared to other groomers I find them really prompt and efficient. Most importantly my pets are safe- but they are also beautifully clean and styled in a reasonable amount of time. A gem of a find!"

"I took my Grandmom’s Shih Tzu Max to get groomed here last weekend and the man working there did not have a great attitude he seemed very indifferent when interacting with me and to top it off after picking up Max, Max came home with a teary eye and over the course of 3 days it became nothing but worse to the point that it closed swollen. After taking Max to the vet we were informed he had an eye ulcer from some form of mistreatment at the groomers and now he is on pain medication, medicated eye drops, and he has to wear a cone for two weeks until he can be seen again by the doctor. So no I will not be coming back here and do not recommend. I put some pictures down of Max below we also still tipped."
