"$110 to install 1 electrical junction box, after the fact of having a Lowe's salesperson at my house to give me a quote to install a microwave for a set price. No mention of any possible upcharge for possible additional work...WHAT A SCAM, WHAT A RIP OFF. I would NEVER recommend Lowe's EVER for any service work at one's house. Called the store and was advised to call the installers. What a joke!!! 0.0 ACCOUNTABILITY!!! Just passing the buck off to someone else. WEAK beyond logical reasoning."

"Been having a major problem with expensive Bali vertical blinds that I purchased. Department associates gave me incorrect information. Called the store to speak to a manager. Was told he was at lunch and would call me back; left my name and phone number. Never received a call. Called the next day and was told by a female customer service associate that he was not available but would call me back. She called me back later in the day and gave me conflicting information. Asked why the manager didn't call me back? First she said he was interviewing, then admitted that she never told him that I requested to speak with him. Here it is, 3 days later and still no manager call. I'm done with this Lowes location in Deptford."

"I spent over$17,000 on sliding doors for my house almost 2 years ago . It is all paid for now. However, I called Lowes multiple times about the faulty installation, horrible quality of the merchandise. They would call back and then say they would get back to me. The last time they said they would get back to me was December, 2022. So I called today. The answer I got: out of warranty, I should call the manufacturer. The paint has come off the doors outside. The screens are flimsy. We had to replace one screen door on our own. The weather stripping is coming off. And Lowes just doesn't care. I wasted my money. I will NEVER buy anything for home improvement from there ever again. The only things they are good for are bug sprays and mulch. LUCKILY, the window I had ordered from Lowe's was the wrong one. They had to take it back. I then went to Home Depot for the window. Great quality, terrific installation. Couldn't have asked for better . I have learned a very expensive lesson. When I can financially afford it, I will replace the doors one by one with quality workmanship and quality doors from Home Depot."

"For years, Home Depot was usually my closest DIY store, so it was a default choice. As Lowe's has grown, particularly in my area, I started visiting once in a while. I found their stores brighter and generally better organized than HD. The most important thing was that their staff is WAY more accessible than at most HDs. What clinched it for me and made Lowe's my "go-to" was their 10% veteran's discount. I have heard that HD now has something similar, but they didn't a couple of years ago. Lowe's has earned my business and my loyalty."
