"Ordered Owens Corning mineral wool insulation back in November 2022 since it was way cheaper here than anywhere else. Thankfully I work slowly... it took 6 months for delivery after tons of back and forth with the rep. Ended up 1 bag short, never get refund, wasn't worth any more of my time. Overall acceptable product (will go with Rockwool next time over OC brand) at a very good price. However, I would not recommend using Insulation4us unless you have tons of time and flexibility and willing to sacrifice reliability to save a few $$. Likely will not use again despite the savings."
"Very clear, they sent me the wrong material that cost me additional time and effort. Took 2 weeks of constant phone calls, chat and emails to get the difference of the cost back. And, they still charged me for the delivery of the wrong material. Should have been a no-brainer to get the delivery cost back, but so far - no help whatsoever. Very frustrating. Thankyou for your response to my response - My answer to the first question. the material was shrink-wrapped and bundled with no visible way to see the specifics other than it was insulation until the day of the installation (as I'm sure you're aware). Opening at the time of receiving would have expanded the material significantly. To you question of calling when I found out, yes indeed I called, chatted and emailed with no inital and later limited respons . There was no way to send back since I had the installers here at that time and had to pay for them regardless. Because it was the wrong size, even with metal stays, it kept falling out of the ceiling, which took longer. The same size, but faced was available at Home Depot which would have saved me and crew hours, but that was the material I had. I do not accept your response -I ask you, does make sense to require someone to pay for the shipping of the wrong material that I could not open when delivered and that cause me hardship? If your answer is yes, then this post has done its job and buyer beware."
"I could not get the quantity of insulation I needed from any of the big box stores without waiting for months. I went online and ordered from Insulation4US. I did not get an order confirmation email with order number which made me a little nervous. However, I received an email 2 days later saying my product would ship in 2 days. After 4 days I still had not received the product. I called and spoke with a pleasant sales person that said there was a shipping issue and it would ship out in 3 days. As promised, my insulation arrived when she said it would. It was a week late, but better than months late. I would order from this company again."
"After not being able to find Rockwool anywhere locally, I decided to give insulation4us a try. A couple days after placing my order a representative contacted me and let me know that while they did not have the items in my region, that they would try to coordinate them from other locations and to hang tight for a few days. A couple days later he let me know that the insulation was on the way and gave me a delivery date. The insulation ended up coming a couple days later than the original date, but everything was delivered (about two and half weeks after order). Just because you buy something from their website does not mean that they have it on hand, and some items could take awhile to get due to current market circumstances. But if you have some flexibility in your schedule and are willing to wait a bit, I would definitely recommend buying from them. They were upfront with me about the situation and responded quickly whenever I reached out."
"Ordered insulation on Feb 6th and card was charged. No feedback for over a week, so I started calling to check status. Spoke with someone about 10 times over the next month and half, and they had a unique story for shipping delays each time, and soon gave up tried to get my money back. I have been trying for over a month to get my money returned and still have not received it. I am assuming they must be in financial troubles, and I am having to go to my CC company to dispute the charges. Stay away from them, and keep in mind if the insulation is listed on their website, it does not mean they have it."
