The Sterling Tavern, located at 119 North Main Street in historic downtown Berlin, Maryland, is a cozy and welcoming restaurant offering a variety of delicious, house-made dishes. "We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and I am so glad we finally did! They make their own beer cheese which is featured in a few menu items and it’s delicious. The menu has a lot of diverse options, I almost couldn’t decide what to choose because everything sounded so good. They have a nice happy hour as well. Staff were super friendly and attentive. The hamburger, "red neck" and chacouterie board had fantastic reviews from patrons. I ordered the scallop steak sandwich, which overflowed with scallops, peppers and onions. Delicious. "Get the rockfish and chips! It was sooo good and a huge portion. My boyfriend really enjoyed his burger and onion rings. The fried shrimp app wasn't our favorite but only because the portion felt very small for the price but they tasted fine. We can't wait to come back and try more things here. They also have a very good orange crush."
