"Very lively but well managed bar. Went for a Friday night show- bands were SLAMMING and the door price was very reasonable. The separated music area sounds great, but also blocks sounds well so you can have a conversation at the bar. Drinks were priced just right too, and there were food options before 10. Bar tenders were very professional and fast! After the music ends they do some music and dj events at the bar so you can keep the party going all night if you want. 5/5 stars I absolutely will be back."

"Ate great Mexican tacos (pork). A tiny live music spot that smelled like walking into a little leather, a bit of sweat, miscellaneous booze, fog, etc. This place smelled nostalgic to me (GenX-er). The staff were choice, very kind and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit."
"My favorite bar to visit when I’m in Philly. This place is a historic gem. A lot of the famous jazz stars used to play here. I love that they kept a lot of the history in the bar. The bartenders are the best. Highly recommend it."
