Motel 6 Rio Grande, NJ 2017 1604 New Jersey 47, Middle Township, NJ 08242

"I wish I could share picture of the mold in the room next to us on the ceiling corners, a bed with draped sheets and stains all over it from a ceiling leak. We had a room without towels after showering and they told us they wouldn't give us towels until 10 when they did room service so we didn't get to shower before work.. the AC didn't work and intermittently turned on and off on its own. The water pressure didn't come out so we had to practically duck under the shower spout. I couldn't say enough bad about this place."

"Not enough space to describe how horrible this motel 6 is. We always use motel 6 but never again here! RUDE RUDE RUDE owner and desk clerks. I was called that morning and someone said "You come!". I asked who he was and he said motel 6. I said yes, we were coming today. He demanded to know what time. I said I wasn't sure but most likely late. He yelled What time you be here! I said I wasn't sure , 6, 7 or 8. He said no refund! He was constantly yelling at me. I said I didn't want a refund because we were coming later. When I hung up I became worried about losing the room so we delayed our sightseeing and went straight there to check in. OMG! What a horrible experience it was dealing with them. My husband brought our bags into the room and I waited in the car. He said he was going to use the bathroom and would be right out. As I was waiting I saw the owners wife and a young man come out of the front office. She glared at me as she passed by but kept walking. The young man knocked on our door but my husband was in the bathroom and couldn't answer. So the young man went back to the front office. Then he came back out with the owner. The owner unlocked our door without knocking!!! The young man entered the room and walked to the bathroom and handed my husband towels. Needless to say that was NOT ACCEPTABLE. I am horrified that those people deal with the public. Motel 6 should be ashamed to allow them to use their name. We searched for another hotel immediately because I was not going to stay where my privacy and safety were at risk. So we ended up paying for a room that was not used."

"If I could give this place negative stars I would. The people that work there are extremely rude and unprofessional. We had no other option but to stay here as everywhere else was completely full. At check in I got yelled at for being a party of 5 then we get into the room that was filthy my niece was walking around barefoot for 5 minutes and the bottom of her feet were black. You can’t sit on the toilet because it is practically under the sink. There was brown stuff coming out of the ceiling And after a while of being there we noticed there was old dried blood everywhere. There was a bloody hand print in the door jam on the door handle on the railing outside the room and some on the walls and behind the door in the bathroom and the mattress. When we confronted them about it the blood everywhere he walked back to the room with us and looked at what we were showing him he said it’s not blood and just walked away. I’m not usually one to write a bad review but I’m afraid this place is going to get someone sick. I’m calling motel 6 corporate to hopefully get this place shut down before someone gets really sick please do not stay here we felt dirty and completely unsafe. Go anywhere else!"

"Pros: It was quiet all 3 nights. Got plenty of rest for the event I was doing. We stayed in the fall, so the room was only $60/night. Cons: sheets were stained. The first section of my room with the full-size bed absolutely reeked of cigarettes despite being a no smoking room. When my husband told the front desk attendant, she argued with him about it. We ended up leaving the bathroom fan on 24/7 in hopes of getting the smell out which worked a little."

"The worst hotel ever. There were brown stains on the sheets. It obviously said no smoking but the rooms smelled like smoke. I asked for more towels and they never brought them to the room. It was definitely not worth the amount we paid. The stairs to the pool were very unsafe. Online checkout says 12 but they told us we had to leave at 10."
